Default Remember in Disneyland when there was...

Remember in Disneyland when there was...

A parking lot as far as the eye could see in the front

A ticket booth that had ticket prices at approx $40 or less

Nothing past It's A Small World or the Fantasyland Theater

A crowd more than 10 people in the Country Bear Jamboree

An escalator like walkway up to Space Mountain

A ride called the Rocket Jets and the Peoplemover in the center of Tomorrowland

An Submarine Voyage lagoon Actually filled with water, a little joke

A seperate Autopia for kids

A boat ride near the Matterhorn where now it's a guest resting area, if you noticed the little things in D-land, you remember this

A ride called Rocket To The Moon, which was a "Eh, could be better" on my scale

A tree house occupied by the Swiss Family Robinson and not Tarzan

a less exciting jungle before the Indiana Jones Adventure

More pirate plundering in the Carribean before it's renovation, some of you might remember those certain things that were changed

A Critter Country that only had one type of critter...bears....at least until a certain happy go-lucky rabbit came with an exciting adventure down a mountain

I know that there are plenty more thing's I'm sure you can remember, I didn't list all of them as you can see, that's where you come in. Feel free to post anything you remember that no longer exists or is forgotten as well as pictures even, which would be a nice touch.

Happy Posting!

I remember some of those...especially when you are young and have to walk through most of the parking lot from the shuttle that took you from your hotel to the park...that was a long walk!!!

Remember when there wasn't an organized bus area and it was just a mad rush to your shuttle/bus to take you back to your hotel?

Yes to all.
Remember a time when there was:

An open air theatre in TL before a certain Captain saved a world?

Before Critter Country and a mountain, threre was a giant wall with a cave and a bear named Rufus snoring away.

Default I remember

I remember a restaurant in Tomorrowland called the "SPACE PLACE". I remember having a drink called "SPACE MIST". I remember the book of tickets or the all day pass you pinned to the front of your shirt. I remember the restaurant inside the pirate ship that served fish and chips. I remember the store that sold moccasins in critter country. I remember a killer arcade next to space mountain, now its just filled with broken duds and dance dance revolution machines (yuk). I remember when I was a kid and I believed that I really did shrink and go through a snowflake crystal , Pirates really were fighting , ghosts were trying to scare my pants off , and I took an out of this world flight through the darkest reaches of space and back!

Remember when its a small world had lots of color on the outside with lots of pinks, baby blues, and light orange colors.

Remember the good old days when Big Thunder Mountain Railroad went faster than it does today.

Remember when there was a Carrousel, a Carrousel of Progress

Remember the days of conviently taking the Skyway as a shortcut to the Autopia and Submarine Voyage from Fantasyland.

Remember the good days of a certain Jackson dancing and singing in a spectacular 3D show.

Remember when the Monorail used to stop at the Disneyland Hotel.

Remember when The Main Street Electrical Parade had Pleasure Island and a Snow White Mine Float.

Remember When Fantasmic had an Ursula Float during Ursulas Monologue/Song with syncronized voicing.

Let's form the Gummi Bear Boat Society! I used to LOVE that ride. Just driving around on the water learning how to make Gummi Berry Juice. I couldn't get enough of the Gummi Bears.

Huge fan as a kid, I don't remember a whole lot of the ride... just the fact that I actually got to drive the boat and the voices that came along with it.

I remember most of those! I also remember when Tomorrowland had gray subs, Flying Saucers, an RC plane arena, a House of the Future, and an actual rocket in front of the Flight to the Moon. When Fantasyland had Capt. Hooks' ship and a skyway. When there was a Mine Train ride through Rainbow Caverns and the painted desert. When "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln" really were great moments. Ah, those were the days. :)

Oh and I also remember and sorely miss the CircleVision America The Beautiful!!

I do remember those...Remember when it was called "Main Street Electrical Parade" and "Disneyland Presents" not "Disney's Electrical Parade" and "A California Classic"? I miss the sky-buckets....

I do remember the swiss robinson family treehouse when it was still that...not tarzans treehouse. I have to say...I liked it alot more before they turned to tarzan. But I also see that tarzan is what the kids know of these days, and they are the ones going on it.
