Default RARE Disneyland Alice In Wonderland Encounter

Disneyland Alice In Wonderland RARE EXCLUSIVE VIDEO!!
This is what happens when the CM releases the caterpillar car to early and the sensors cannot respond on time.
See for yourself.
Please I'm Sorry for the quality! I promise better!
If this well happens again.
Notice how you can hear ahead of the ride!

Just to let you know this is rare for this to happen. We were very lucky she released the car early! Now you know what happens! Has this happen to you?
LOVE YOU ALICE IN WONDERLAND!!

Alright! Since no one understands I'll have to use a comparison!

Alright to make it more clear:
First the Disneyland Alice In Wonderland Caterpillar cars need a certain distance between each other for the ride to operate correctly. If two caterpillar cars are two close then the sensors (Sensors are what activate sounds and etc.) won't responde in time because it just got done finishing the other job with the other caterpillar.

Here is infact a comparison:

How the Alice In Wonderland attraction should operate:
Look at 3:07 in the video and look at 15:00 in my video.

Notice in mine how it's quiet? And In mine the good one it's loud and everything is playing right?

Well that's it! Just when I rode it the sensor's did not recognize that I was there yet. Maybe it did but It couldn't play what It was supposed to.
Does this make sense?

it makes sense, but the thing is, there is a Safety built into every ride so it can't dispatch to early, this is because of theatrical events, and also a safety reason, that way if the car in front stops there is enough room for the other car to hit a brake zone, or in this case another power thing. However it works. But there is know way that this could happen, it could of been a number of other malfunctions, but not bc it was too close.

Are you sure about that? I remember one day when I rode it all day. Like literally the "WHOLE day."
And It happened twice. And I noticed that she set the car too early twice and therefore had to have caused it.
However...
You could be right..
But I rode Alice for years and It seems that would the case..
BUT..
That's what I think! I think your right but yeah.

EDIT: I remember I bumped a car in front of me on Alice.
I couldn't explain.

Cars on all dark rides at Disneyland cannot be dispatched immediately after a car has left the station before it. There is a lag time built in to space out the cars & effects.

Yes but this doesn't necessarily mean that this will always be 100% accurate? And your right it cannot be dispatched immediately. Even a second or two off from when it should leave could throw the sensors from doing what there supposed to do.

Sometimes CM's press that dispatch button like 20 times or even more. (That's what I saw)
So what is true?

Red face Okay I get it now...

Thanks for posting both video links. I had to watch them both a couple of times to figure out what was different. So I guess some of the figures and whatnot don't have time to re-set properly if the cars aren't far enough apart?

Right, they push it twenty times until it goes, bc there may not be anything that tells them when the time is over, due to safety reasons, the rides have to be able to take the dispatch code twenty times or so b4 letting it dispatch, other programs could crash, just like your computer, if you press the interenet button and it doesn't come up so you click it a bazilion times your computer either takes a few minutes to open up all those internet browsers, or it crashes. At disneyland they are tested to withstand this problem. But Its very unlikely that you bumped into another car unless it was at the station.

I've noticed that on rides like POTC, depending how fast you're going, you may hear things differently than other times. Like you know how sometimes on POTC your boat catches up to the one in front and kinda drags behind -- then you basically hear the end of the stuff that front boat was meant to hear.

Maybe there was just a problem with the senor on AIW.

The most rare encounter I ever had on a DL ride was on the Matterhorn, going up the hill with the lights on!
