Has anyone had a run-in with the rolling, talking, joking garbage can, PUSH?

Funniest gag I have EVER seen at Disneyland, he had me laughing so hard I was crying!!!! I followed him just to see what would happen, and people just walked around him like he was a runaway garbage can and nobody did anything to stop him, and when he'd almost run into someone he'd go, "BEEP BEEP! CAN I GET THROUGH?", and people just got the most bewildered look on their faces...

Priceless.

i saw push next to innoventions and it was dancing and singing. There were a bunch of people staring at it and running away whenever it got close to them. It was funny to see.

I've seen him quite a few times. But I usually catch him when he's trying to leave...

I've also seen the guy who controls Push. Man, that guy has talent!

I saw him near the restraunt near tommrow land when I was ewating breakfast he was near the Star Tours building

Where does he control PUSH from? What is the interface? We were looking all around us to try to spot whoever was controlling it. Is it a mobile control unit? Like with an RC car controller and a headset transmitter and a hidden videocamera?

Please do tell, it was the best gag ever!

he is usually walking around nearby, he has a black sports bag over his shoulder with one arm in it controling push. in his other hand he has a small microphone and is usualy at his mouth so he can whisper into it and that is push talking.
I used to have a video of the guy controlling it on my personal web site, but to help keep the disney magic alive, I removed it a few weeks back.

the guy is actually pretty easy to spot if you stand back a little.
most of the time he looks like a normal DL visitor and he wears a GAP hat most of the time as well.

Push is very funny. He scares little kids by moving without notice back and forth really fast.

Thanks for the information on that, it was leaving me and all of the others bewildered! What a great invention that was, though... It really adds so much fun to the usual walk around the park, watching all of the people and their different reactions to a walking, talking garbage can! Hilarious!
