Talking Positive Additions to Disneyland From Pixar

Okay, I know how everyone just loves to go on and on about how terrible these Pixar additions to Disneyland are, so I created this thread not because I like all of them, but because I want to look at the positive things that have come out of them. Obviously some Disney/Pixar stuff is good in the parks. Already I have thought of a few:
-Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage- the perfect excuse to bring back the subs, and now they are looking better that new.
-Toy Story Midway Mania- Who doesn't love it? It's fun, it totally changes how Paradise Pier looks (in a great way), and it is something new and fresh that is completely unique to Disney parks.
-(Soon to come) Radiator Springs Racers- It's supposed to be the most advanced and innovative project ever since Indiana Jones Adventure

I really like all the PIXAR rides with the exception of Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. Waste of space. The Radiator Springs Racers is going to be lots of fun!

The Nemo subs are cute, and I don't have a problem with them at all.

The Midway Mania thing was fun, but not a huge deal. I can take it or leave it.

I'm not totally against Pixar stuff, but there can be too much of a good thing. I'm glad that most of the Pixar influence is over at DCA.

I'm loving the pixar additions. midway mania, blab, and the subs are all some of my favourite rides. I can do without the pixar parades, and I wont be able to make up my mind about cars land until I can actually go to it. I think Disney is takin a big risk devoting an entire land to one movie, because I am not a fan of a bugs land, even though the kiddies like it, they could do something a lot better.

I love BLAB! I have so much fun trying to defeat my husband on that one haha. My son thinks it's pretty dang cool too! I haven't been on Nemo or Mania yet so I'll wait for those opinions. I'm not too keen on Monster's Inc the ride, but I did love seeing Sully walk around the park! He was a lot of fun to hug! My biggest positive is that I get to see my son's face light up seeing the characters he has grown up with and LOVES! Meeting Buzz is like a normal person meeting Johnny Depp. He's speechless!

I like a lot of the new pixar stuff! Subs were good, LOVE BLAB! And I haven't done toy story mania yet but it looks cool. What gets me is that they are putting a good amount of these rides in CA adventure. I thought the idea of that park was to show the wonders of California, not the wonders of pixar. And where is this new "cars land" supposed to be? I'm a bit behind on the Disneyland news, sorry

I do agree that Disney is taking a risk by devoting an entire land to a single movie. But I suppose that's what makes DCA different from Disneyland.

I think the best Pixar additions have been the characters. There's no doubt that everyone has a Pixar film that they love, and it's always a magical experience to meet your favorite characters. I think Woody's Roundup back at Big Thunder Ranch is really cute!

My favorite Pixar ride is definitely BLAB! I'm sure I'll love TSMM too once I ride it. There's something about the interactive-ness of these rides that I really love.

I guess I just don't understand why so many of you love the Astro Blasters. It's one of my least favorite things at the Park.

I've only been on BLAB a few times but now that TSMM is open, isn't it just the same thing only based with all the other characters from the movie? I'd want to get rid of BLAB and possibly put something else. I never really get a kick out of it and I love laser tag.

I love Finding Nemo: Submarine Voyage. I thought it was a great way to bring back the submarines. I especially love the scenery under the water. It's really beautiful.

I also like Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters. I love the music in the ride.

What exactly is Carsland suppose to be like?

Sincerely, a brother of a half-demon,

I never really complained about BLAB, but when I heard that TSMM was going to be similar, I started arguing. I was proven wrong about the ride, and happy for it, TSMM may have a similar action as BLAB, but TSMM is so much fun.

The Test-Track-type raditator springs racer looks REALLY fun in my opinion.

It's a little strange to lump attractions together because their themes are based off of Pixar movies. To me it really doesn't matter what the theme is, the ride is either good, or it's not. The theme either contributes to the experience in a way that enhances the experience and adds to its enjoyment, or it doesn't. So in that sense, it's not about Pixar, it's about how does each attraction compare with its cousins and predecessors?

I love the Pixar rides, what I dont like is that they are the only new rides that the have added (excluding DCA) for a while. I like BLAB and I'm fine with the Subs, but I wish that they would make an original Walt syle ride!!

My favorite Pixar addition to the parks is A Bug's Land. They took a lot of time and imagination to make a really unique experience for the younger kids in DCA. I also really liked the Finding Nemo Subs although I'm not a fan of the movie.

BLAB and TSMM are just ok, and Monster's inc. is a waste of space.

I love the Pixar characters. They have that grown-up personality on the movies, too. You know, they are cute kid movies, but ya gotta love how they add in the adult humor here and there!
