Default Origin of the jail scene in POTC
There is an old episode of the Andy Griffith show,
where Andy and Barney accidentally get locked
in the jail cell, and Barney's dog is standing
outside the cell, with the keys in his mouth.

Hmmmmmm..... I'm waiting for the episode to reply
on TV so I can get a capture of it.

You know that is an interesting point there ghoofie. I do enjoy watching The Andy Griffith show, I have never seen that specific episode, but I am sure its more than likely that it could tie in with Disney... Maybe...

actually, one of the prisoners in this scene is modeled after a janitor at WED offices

It is a very confusing name. In fact thats why they changed it. WED was an acronym for Walter Elias Disney. After Walt died people got confused by the name.(Some even called them to help arrange marriages.) So in 1986 the name was changed to Walt Disney Imagineering.
