^Sweet, I think it looks better than the other, the color is brighter. The other monorail is a dark red color, while this is a bright blue.

It's cool how from some angles the windows look like they have a light-purple color to it.

The blue monorail does have purple tint to the windows where as red has blue tinted windows. I believe orange will also have blue tinted windows too.

Ok, so I think someone mentioned here that the color changed on the monorail, based on different angles of the sun, or something like that, and I haven't seen that at all. Plus they mentioned something like that on the official Disneyland Resort Podcast too, so I'm pretty sure its true. Perhaps I just can't see that in the pictures?

That was something Bob Gurr had mentioned to me when I met him at Walt's Barn, and it wasn't a total color change like from one angle it'd be red and from another it'd be green or something like that. The color change would be a darker vs lighter shade of the color, be it Red, Blue or Orange, depending on the angle light reflects off of it and hits your eyes. The effect is subtle enough that it would be pretty easy to miss just by looking at still photos.

lol, I can't wait to tell my dad when we go to Disneyland later this week,

"look, there's the brand new monorail!"

btw, the Monorail is no longer like "get on at Tomorrowland/Downtown Disney, Get off at Tomorrowland/Downtown disney" is it? Like can you now stay in the monorail instead of having to get off at the stops? Just thought it'd be insteresting to ride the monorail around once just to see the parks from up there.

The ride is still from Tomorrowland to Tomorrowland. Riders have the option of getting off at Downtown Disney, and riders may board from Downtown Disney provided they have valid Disneyland admission. However, once the monorail returns to Tomorrowland, all riders must exit.
