But it doesn't match the theme for it to stop at Paradise Pier. It doesn't really match the theme of any land there, and right now it just goes through little bits of DCA. If it went over there, then it'd probably go through all those lands.

Funny. I've been to San Francisco many times before and never saw a monorail at all.

Alrighty, according to the map, San Fancisco would be the Smallest Area in the park. It has two buildings, both having fake 2nd floors. Probably as wide as a freeway...hmm perhaps the monorail could go underground, come up in sanfrancisco, then go back under ground. lol

Then that would be just like the Bart (Bay Area Rapid Transit) trains that go into a tunnel in Oakland and come up into SF, LOL. That would be pretty funny. :)

Neither have I. It must be hiding behind those big buildings, cable cars, BART trains & suspension bridges.

Of course, they might be referring SF's cable cars, street cars and BART trains.

I still think they should expand the monorail to use some of its potential

We don't have a monorail here in SF. You may be thinking of BART, which does glide above ground at certain points but not in the city itself.

The BART system is a monorail... and yes its not in the city but it does connect the city to its surroundings. The San Fransisco area to me includes Oakland just like the Los Angeles area includes Orange County and Santa Barbara.

A monorail is a train or vehicle which is restricted in movement to one rail. Unlike the normal two rail trains. As far as I remember there is a train that runs on one rail.

Those trains certainly don't look like monorails...

It didn't look like that. I don't actually remember where in San Fran it was but I remember joking around with my friends about it cause one almost fell on it.

BART is not a monorail, it's not even a dual-rail system. It's a tri-rail (3 rail) mass transit system most closely resembling a subway system, even though much of the BART system is above ground.

On ground-level trackways, the third rail alternates from one side of the track to the other, providing breaks in the third rail to allow for emergency evacuations across trackways.
