Haunted mansion reopened yesterday (3/10/06). We all got to ride it. They were closing it down off and on that day because of audio problems, whcih there was audio problems. The CM we talked to told us (Matt, neo_obs and booster and myself) the whole story of what they will be doing to the mansion in 2 months. It was quite a long talk too. They had leotas head floating and they changed a portrait in the hallway. Thats all for now. The Cast member said check back in 2 months.

Yes. It is open, though they were having some technical problems. Otherwise, nothing really new, save for the green ball of light in the Seance room has been removed (to make way for a new effect) and some things have been rearranged in the attic. The big new changes aren't supposed to come for another few months.

Didn't the CM who talked to us booster say that they are going to make the effect on the Hitch Hiking Ghosts like how they do to the ghosts in Tower of Terror?

floating refurb. They are not closing it. They are gradually going to change over nigh time after closing.

Floating referb, like rock it mountian, all effects in tact just not flipped on.. saving it for something!

Well, in Mansion's case, getting them to work properly while making it seem to the public like nothing's going on.

The only real audio problem I noticed today was that the piano playing ghost in the attic was silent.

Well on Friday. The narration was off and some of it was Cut and didn't play all the way. They closed it down off and on yesterday.

Oh lol, I didn't even know they refurbished it. I thought the last thing was that they took down the holiday decorations from the Haunted Mansion. Did they refurbish it when they took down the decorations?
