OoOoOo... I think the first picture is the finale because all of the fish are there! Wait, in the wanna-haga-logie scene,where's pearl? Alao, wanna-haga-logie is in the WATER - not shooting the monirail with water.;

Do any of you know what kind of queue they are going to use? Is it going to be a boring old unthemed queue like monsters inc (not saying that theres anything wrong with monsters inc queue, its just dull) or is it going to be good.

^ Won't know that until we know more about the Monorail Station project, since the Monorail Station is directly above where the Sub Voyage queue used to be.

I don't see how you can call the second-to-last picture a piece of concept art. It looks the same as when it left: yellow subs in a lagoon. Plus, as y'all have mentioned, the monorail station is the same (probably because the concept art is pre-monorail-refurb-greenlight).

Save for the 'mine! mine!' seagulls.

Ah well.

Not that this would ever happen, since DIsney is a cheap skate when it comes to theming ques now, but it would be really kool if they enclosed the under section of the monorail station and the line ran through it. Inside they could theme it like the dentist office and actually have the fish tank in there, maybe you could have the sounds of the drill and a kid screaming in the chair "next door", even have video projections outside the window as if the pellican was tapping on it trying to get in. Then you could go outside and it could be like a dock right on the ocean where you board your submersible. I don't know, just an idea.

I'm not sure if you've ever heard of a new ride called Expedition Everest. But that is one of the most detailed queue lines ever created in any theme park history. Oh yea and theres a ride called Indiana Jones Adventure. I heard that that queue isnt bad either.

Al Lutz' latest musings regarding the Submarine construction:

Quote:
Originally Posted by Al Lutz, Miceage.com
Meanwhile back at Disneyland the Sub lagoon was filled with water recently (above) for two reasons. The first was to test if the patches and resealing they did on the facility actually worked. The lagoon had been leaking huge amounts of water for years, and it was just seeping through the lagoon floor and into the Anaheim water table by the tens of hundreds of thousands of gallons per year. They've tried to patch the lagoon up as much as possible, although it was tough to tell how well they were doing because the blueprints and plans they had from 1959 weren't very comprehensive. They have been watching the water level and amount of leaking very carefully in the last week (and monitoring the huge sinkhole area near Innoventions), and it looks promising so far.

The second reason they had to flood the lagoon was that was the only way they could move the sub vehicles themselves (above). They had to ferry the fleet out of the caverns and into the lagoon so they could continue with track replacement and leak repair work inside the caverns where the subs used to sit. They also took this opportunity to run some quick tests of the new Mr. Ray show building they have just built in the lagoon with one of the subs (below). But the lagoon will be drained again beginning today (Tuesday, 4/18) and work will continue through the summer and fall.
So, there ya have it. Hope you drank in those filled lagoon shots. Next ones you see will be of a drained lagoon once more it looks like.
