does anybody see the layout of the ride? when are they going to start the animatronics....? ideas?

I don't know if there's going to BE any animatronics, because they're supposedly doing everything wth plexi-glass and pojections. In the newest pictures of the new showbuilding, you can see a rectangular opening where the subs pass by (sort of like a long window) which is where they will be putting the plexi-glass to show the pojections.

Now what really confuses me is this...

"Is Pixar making new footage for the ride itself, or just taking cips from the movie?"

Personally, I think new footage makes more sense, but you never know how cheap Disney can be (...Superstar Limo...).

thats horrible.... i think it would need the animatronics....thats what made it great to begin with.....im soooo mad now

OMG! THE LAGOON IS 100% FULL!

It looks SO BEAUTIFUL! I'm not kidding, it's great to see it full again (at least for the time being). The reason is because they need to check for leaks, test effects in the caves, and *gasp* bring the subs out into the sunshine so they can paint them. I can't wait to see the subs again!!!

They haven't replaced any of the faux rockwork, so aparently they'll be draining it again so they can do that work. Without it it looks like a big swimming pool.

Do you guys know what there plans are to cover the new pre-show building because its likea big concerete box sticking 10 feet in the air and its like right near the monorail.

^ Of course there are plans to cover the building. That's how it becomes an island to those seeing it from the outside.

Perhaps they could put like a rubber scuba diver that take will take nemo. That would replace those silly mermaids. And they could have the fishing "butt" floating on the surface.
