Unhappy No Fireworks?

Im going on April 17 and 18...and i looked on Disneyland.com for what might be closed and everything and it had no schedule for fireworks on those days...or even the rest of the week, except for the weekend. I never heard of disneyland with no fireworks...so is it true that there will be no fireworks?!?! (btw this isnt a rumor...it actually has no schedule for fireworks on those days)

During some off seasons fireworks only run on weekends. (Seems that Dot just beat me to it.)

Although it is Spring Break for some, it really isn't a good enough reason to have fireworks everyday. Considering possibly that school is back in session for many areas (such as my school..), locals may complain about the noise coming around at such a late-ish time.

Nah. I don't particularly like the booms at night. Distracts me from my sleep.

That may be, but you must respect those who are living in the area around the parks. There are young ones who do have bed times after all.

Not only is that closed, so is Tom Sawyer's Island, Tarzan's Treehouse, etc... Fantasmic also.

I think that they could actually show the fireworks earlier, since it still is pretty dark earlier. Plus, they could A) cut back on the fireworks B) do it on alternate nights.

Maybe... perhaps?

No, no I don't have to respect the neighbors.... They moved in across the street from Disneyland. What the HECk did they expect?!?!?

Okay, okay... I feel sorry for the people that were living there before Disneyland... Which is NO ONE!!!!

Exactly what I was going to say WrongWay. Residents know what to expect when moving in next to the most popular of theme parks. The crowds, the lights and sounds. They don't like it, they can move.

It probably has more to do with city and county codes. Whenever a fireworks show is done in the US (especially in California), pyro permits and special use permits must be recieved from the municipalities prior to the event. While Anaheim I'm sure is fairy leanient on Disney for the profits it brings in, they still have to be mindfull of the people they represent.
