New Indiana Jones AA figure.. PICS, PLEASE???

I saw the figure while riding INDY on Sunday and when I saw it I knew some thing was different, besides him pointing to the stairs now, and the door had special effects behind it. But couldn't put my finger on what it was. Well now I know. I do remember that the face looked better than it did before. I just thought maybe they got a better cast of Harrison.

that looks like Harrison actually is in front of the doors! I'm not sure if I remember if it was that or the old one.... and two new ones?!?! cool! can't wait to see that! but I'm just not sure why we're obsessing over something from the mouse. I think they established they can do anything a LONG time ago and the results will always turn out great! and on the side to Disney_Guy, I'm glad you have Woody, because for a moment, I thought that was my post and I was wondering what was going on

I kind of don't like how they used the likeness of Indy from the most recent movie. That one takes place in the 50s while the Indiana Jones Adventure ride takes place in the 30s. They should have used a younger looking likeness of Indy.

As much as I don't like the 4th Indiana Jones I couldn't care less which version of indy it is, so long as it's always going to be Harrison Ford, and not Shia LeBouf, if they ever are silly enough to make a fifth movie.

As a Film student I learn all kinds of fun stuff about CONTINUITY!! I'm assuming they didn't change the other Indy's to all match, this isn't the dinosaur ride where we time travel back and fourth! Geez

Yep, they really need to match the other Audio-Animatronics now. Somebody said that they might during a refurbishment of the ride next year, but I'm not for sure if they actually are.

^they really need to do a massive overhaul of the ride. Take it down for awhile and really fix the mechanics. While they are at it, they might as well spruce up the AAs. :)

It really DOES look exactly like him! Bravo, Disney! Finally, money well-spent on a fantastic attraction!

I wonder when they are going to change the one down by the ball at the end... you know, the one with the herky-jerky movements, folding neck skin and mouth that is out of sync with the audio, lol...

On a side note, I noticed this last time I went that the fire was back in the eye of the idol in the main section of the temple!!! It was also my first glimpse of the new Indy, and I even got a quote I've never heard after the boulder before! "Next time... You all wear blindfolds..."

They are

The plan is to replace all three AA's with new ones. The other two are in development and they could install them in the next refurb. Which is likley to happen before the 15th Anniversary of IJA hits.
