My Disneyland Trip 8/23/06

I went to Disneyland yesterday with my nephew and sister to get my our first AP's,There was more people there than I thought for the middle of the week but not too bad. Our plan were thrown off after Pirates and Thunder Mountain went down, The CM in front of Pirates said the ride could not be open cause the Pirates were running around the park, I thougt that was kind of funny. We went to see the the 3:15 Parade of Dreams and after getting the perfect spot to record the Gateway to Dreams show stop there was only two show stops instead of three so I got the Alice in Wonderland float instead, but I have to say even with the heat the performers still gave it their all. Jiminy Cricket and Flotsam and Jetsam were not in either parade. After that Thunder was wroking so we hopped on that (they let us use our fastpass for anytime during the day). We went on the Mark Twain and then Pirates. After watching the 7:00 Parade of Dreams (I got to record the show stop I wanted) I got my spot in the hub for Remember, a little while after it was dark this white weather balloon appeared from behind the castle and was there until about 10 mins before the show started. I thought it was going to be cancelled but it went on. After Remember we went on Space Mountain thanks to fastpass, then got a Dolewhip and took a grand circle tour of the Magic Kingdom, when we got back to Main Street they were setting up to film something, I'm not sure what because only the equipment was out. All in all it was an enjoyable trip and I'm going back on Sunday.

I went that day too....I had to get my Annual passport processed. maybe you saw me or maybe I saw you. Who knows...But didn't you think that Pirates broke down just a bit too frequently that day(five times all day). But if you also remember in the Pinnochio float there were only two aerialists instead of three. my wait was like 20 seconds..I went first thing in the mornig that could be why. But who knows really. I can't wait to go back again yay me!!!!!

sounds like you had fun at disneyland. i went on the 20th and the park was crowded big time.come to find out they had a goth day and everyone who dressed up got in for free. that is what i found out. i still had fun that day.

Hehe "Bat Day" was awesome. I first was weirded out by everyone. At first I only saw one group of people dressed in goth fashion. Then I started looking everywhere and there were hundreds of people dressed the same way. I was relieved when I saw a couple friends from HS dressed there. I hung out with them the rest of the day. I looked stupid cause I was the only one in their group not wearing all black. I sported a yoda shirt =] ( Star Wars is kinda Disney. I usually sleep in my Disney shirts. )
