The entire monorail is down. The stations are being remodeled.

yup, the trains are being remodeled and the track also.
for some reason this reminds me of rocket rods..

^^Yes new trains are on the way, so far monorail blue is sitting in columbia, Canada sitting without a chasis (thats the base) the body is stripped off and just chillin in the scrap yard. BTW i pretty sure the track isn't getting fixed. Maybe where the cracks are but idk. As for the chasis its getting a new body. The blue one is in canada, the orange one is somewhere else, and its going to be the first done i belive. Then blue. IDK about red and purple. If you don't belive me go to www.smugsmug.com and search dark beer, go to his gallery, scroll down click theme parks then look for the gallery called Monorail blue.

I read in the other thread that the monorails might not be up until summer or late 2007. Is this true, or just a 'new' monorail (with the old ones working by Jan as noted)?

I'm going to miss the old Monorail .And this is what?2?3rd time there remodeling it?

This actually fourth i think, mark 1 mark 2 mark 3 mark 4, mark fives are at WDW, so were getting mark six. I think it went mark 1 mark 2 mark 3. but im not sure. But according to the website it opens Dec. 14th. I don't think thats enough time to redo the station, because im pretty sure its being redone. Monorail orange will be the first up, followed by purple, then blue, then red. Im 100 precent sure about orange and purple coming first. But idk if its blue then red or red then blue. And i don't think the purple will be up then. The rumor about late 2007 is probably when the last monorails are finished. So im guessing orange is done, and purple is almost done. But thats a guess, they pulled orange off the tracks about a year ago, so like i said there waiting to finish the station, and waiting for purple to be done. It'd be kinda akward to have only orange in use. Then it'd be almost 20 min in between.

I hope they are able to keep the Dec 14th date. I'll be there that day.
