Magic Music Days

Today i found out that or High schools "show orchastra" strolling strings is going to Magic Music Days next year. Im a Freshman so this would be my first year going. My sister went in 03 to WDW. I know some of u have probably been there whats it like?

Oh, im in a school choir and we go to MMD every year. Im not sure if what you do is different but we go to disneyland and hang out with our freinds. Then, we are taken backstage to a special sound proof room where this guy teaches us a few disney songs and stuff. Though I think that if you are in an orchestra, then you preform in the plaza gardens stage.

I've heard about it before. Well from what I remember hearing you perform for around 2-3 days of your trip and on your last day you get to go to the parks (but I think only one and I also think you can go to SF, but who would choose that over DL)

I will be going to perform in Disneyland for the second time this upcoming summer. Visit the Disneyland Magic Music Days site and it will tell you all about it. It is really fun, in my singing/dancing(we are essentially a show choir) group, we perform on the plaza gardens stage, it is reall really fun!

^^yeah we call that advanced chior. I could be in it, buz i have sang in church chior since i was five, and have had lead roles in the last three musicals. But i decided to do orchastra instead. Thx for all the info

My children did it (I've spoken in other threads about their experiences). My sons accompanied the choirs in Carnation Plaza (older plays bass and piano and the younger drums). My younger son marched the parade twice, once in drum line and once as drum major. What I found interesting was that the jazz choir was invited back, then invited to sing at Disneyland in Paris. Guess they do actually pay attention to the groups' performances.

i performed in MMDs in marching band we marched right down MAIN STREET it was so GREAT seeing hundreds and hundreds of people watching us.we played Louie Louie and there was japanise tourest dancing and singing along with us it was so great!!!!!

I went and played for music magic day.s you get to go backstage and you pass by some very interesting things. I passed by Team Disney Anehiem and all of its cool things back there. They test indy cars there and jungle cruise animals. I also passed by the house that was there before disneyland was. You get a cool Magic Music Days T-shirt. I performed on the Plaza Gardens Stage.

ive done the whole magic music day thing as well!! last year. it was intersting, we went in this studio, and played a whole bunch of disney songs! we also got t-shirts!!

I think my school is going in May, but I'm not in band or choir. Stinks for me lol. And then my school leadership is going, which I quit two months ago. Lucky me lol.
