Default Madame Leota

Wife and kid made the weekly trip to DL today.

She said the old Madame Leota stationary crystal ball is back. I'm going tomorrow. Has anyone else seen this?

I was there 2 weeks ago and it was the new version where the head floats around above the table.

I believe they revert to stationary when there is a sync problem between the floating version and the projector.

It switches back and forth from stationary to floating around the table, as far as my experiences go.
I've seen it floating many times, as well it sometimes may be stationary when I ride the Haunted Mansion.

I guess it is due to what someone already said, sync problems.

The ride ops must have accidentally left the ride in creep mode (used for boarding handicapped guests).

^How hot?

When my family went to DL, it was so hot(probably over 100F) that my mom got sun burn.

exactly correct. when the her face projection is out of sync the ride will shut down and they will put her head in stationary position and open back up.

I was at the park on Friday and she was floating. I had a fun first time experience at the HM when I was there. I went to the park alone and got there at 8:00 a.m., headed to Indy for a FP then over to the HM. At first I thought it was closed because there was no one around. I was all alone in the streching room waiting for other guests to arrive. No one came so the doors closed and there I was all by myself! Yea! I could recite the entire speil without bothering anyone!!! The doors opened and I headed to the ride. When I got to the doom buggies the CM looked at me then behind me and said "You're it?" and I said "Yep, I'm it!" So I rode the entire ride alone and when I got off there still wasn't anyone on the ride! Wish I could have rode it in creep mode like Disneylover_1313!

Wow. That was some fun you had there! But what happened if you rode the whole ride by yourself in creep mode?
