July 25th Trip Report!

Yesterday I headed out to the park with my 2 good friends Chad and Sterling. The day was pretty much your standard day in terms of weather, but the crowds were unusually light for a Friday afternoon. We got there when DCA opened to hit CS, ToT and TSM before the crowds became heavy, but they just never materialized. Our longest wait was 20 minutes for TSM. Before it hit noon, we were able to do the above mentioned rides on top of Grizzly Peak. We then headed over to DL where we hit every major ride before the nights end and was even able to catch Fantasmic. Even for the show the crowds were light. Our longest wait there was for Space Mountain which was half an hour. Anyway, taking advantage of the light crowds, I was able to get some really good shots. Enjoy!

Even the band was out in full force today!

Submitted for your approval... 2 awkward adults trapped in an animation building after being bombarded by young children when Woody appeared. Lol!

Funny, never saw this part of the parade before!

The next couple shots I tried getting inside the mansion itself (don't worry, I kept the flash off). They didn't come out that clear, but I thought think they look awesome! These 2 were taken with the best intentions, but came out great by accident!

This is my favorite out of the daytime batch of pics

Just to prove that 3 adults weighing 225+ each can fit comfortably in a Peter Pan boat!

Nighttime shots! Again, we begin in DCA, but shift our focus into DL starting with the most photographic nighttime land... Fantasyland!

Onto DL!!!

And now, something special. When waiting for Fantasmic at the Cafe Orleans, I realized that I could capitalize on low crowds around New Orleans, so I decided to make an entire set based on this beautiful land. Now, without any further ado, may I present New Orleans Square at night!

So there you have it! I hope you enjoyed this update as much as I did putting it together!

...very good pictures, i miss this park..i plan on taking a trip down there next year with 5 of my friends.

Thanks for the update, it is a shame that this website (no offense) doesn't have regular photo updates...your was cool! I was also just there and it was very empty-loved it!

Thanks! I do my best to dish out at least one trip report during the 2 trips I make every month. Then occasionally I'll post a random trip report in the Off Topic forum for something like Halloween Haunt at both Knott's and Universal.
