It would cost a lot of money to swap out vehicles, especially the ones for Indy because they are so technologically advanced. Maybe (if they don't already do this) it would be cheaper to just take the computer off the car and have a seperate computer control the cars movement.

I dont know what you think but I think Indy needs a pretty lengthy refurb, maybe half a year, to get all of the kinks fixed, as for the Prince of Persia attraction, it would cost too much, not a good thing considering the billion dollars they are spending next door

Taking the computer off the car won't do it, and when I say swap cars, I mean have every vehicle prepped for the day to run, and put them out in pairs. So if two of them over heat, they can send two into the maintenance area, and send two new ones in. Then When another set overheat, put them in maintenance, and by then the two that went in first will have cooled down.

I know that when the ride is at max capacity I'm pretty sure they have two spare EMV's in the shop, and if they aren't running at max capacity then they have 2 or more in the shop so it wouldn't be a problem.

If they have the extra EMVs, they might possibly be running your idea as we speak, but then again I have never really noticed a transfer track.

The transfer track is just past the set of mirrors when you make the first turn from the loading area.

getting rid of indy would be a crime all together sure its expensive to run and maintain but I still think they should keep it.

Dr. Jones and his recent discovery won't go anywhere for a long time. With a new Indiana Jones audio animotronic recently installed and more on the way, it'd be a huge waste of time and money to close it down now or even make new audio animotronics.

Sincerely, a brother of a half-demon,

^LOL I have that recreation too, it's pretty cool. And yes it's very accurate.

The nice thing is, is that when they mirror has opened up it points at the three doors. And you can totally see the walls moving if you look at the mirror.

Yeah, I was at the loading area when it was broken down, the mirrors were flush with the wall to which they are hinged, and another door behind it was open, with 4 or 5 EMV's on different tracks facing toward me. I saw them add 2 of the EMV's to the ride, and if you look down as you drive past the mirrors off the left side of the jeep, you'll see the track emerging from the wall and tire marks in weird directions on the floor.

lol, when you say weird directions, does that mean they branch out or they take the EMVs off the track to replace them?

Haha, the EMV's come on to the track making a left turn toward the doors room, but it just looks funny with a bunch of crossing tires tracks all over the turntable on the floor, it looks like someone was joyriding one and was doing donuts.

honestly, they should really close this down for about a year to redo everything. ya know? make it look as new as it did when it debuted in 95.

It doesn't need 1 year to make it brand new again. From the state of the ride, It just nedds approximatley 2 months to get things refurbished in there.

Theres talks of another refurb beginning in January to install the other two AA's in the ride. WDI wants the refurb to happen before the 15th anniversary of the ride which is next year.
