Talking Real Greedy

I'm going to be real greedy here. I want The Haunted Mansion for my house. In the back yard I want Lafittes Landing, complete with The Blue Bayou, waterfall leading to Dead Man's Cove... the whole Pirates of the Caribbean shebang. Then for the front yard, I want the terrace leading down to Rivers of America (w/ Mark Twain of course) which of course also means Tom Sawyer's Island across the way (pre-Pirate's Lair, please). And heck, may as well throw in Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, since it's right there just past they island. Cascade Peak too, please.

Oh, and speaking of Pirate's Lair... the caverns are really neat. Can I have those in the back yard as a secret entrance to Dead Man's Cove that can be entered on foot, rather than by boat? And since we're talkin' caves, maybe the original Rainbow Caverns can be somewhere near Big Thunder? Thanks. May as well have Big Thunder Ranch out there too. The Mark Twain would be awesome for coctail parties, but I may want to have a barbeque.

So I guess my property is about 60 acres?

Great question! Another vote for Big Thunder! Now how fun would that be? We'd be the most popular house on the block!

Well, I don't know! This is a very good question.

I think I'd just love to have the Teacups out there. Or the Matterhorn, or Thunder Mountain. Not sure.

Having the Haunted Mansion in your backyard would be very strange, indeed. You could always claim it was the "guest house."

Wow this is a hard question! I would want a ride with a great queue so you could get more out of it... So I think I'll go with Splash Mountain...

Now that I think about it, the Matterhorn would be fun to have as well. Not only for looks and the roller coaster part but also for climbing. you get good exercise while you have thrills and then the view you get from the top would be spectacular, of course depending on where you live and the scenery.

Ha I was going to post something similar, but the more I think about it, the better the idea of an entire Disneyland sounds! I guess I could live with just one ride... But I'm afraid I just can't settle for 10%... I'm a 100% kind-of-guy.

I also think the Jungle Cruise would be fun. You could just leisurely list in your boat, or actually get out and swim with the elephants, or "cannonball" off of the waterfall... Ah, paradise...

Definitly the Haunted Mansion. Imagine how popular my house would be during Halloween! Or, I'd either have the JC or ROA, imagine all the parties I could have. If I had the JC, the Dole wHip hut would be at the entrance.

Oh that's a tough question. I think I'd have to say either the Haunted Mansion or Peter Pan. That way I wouldn't have to wait in the long line to visit Neverland.

As big a Sleeping Beauty fan as I am, I would go with the Mark Twain and TSI. These are just so iconic for me when it comes to Disneyland and a much slower time in history. Aaahh nostalgia!!!

Matterhorn for sure. Well, maybe Pirate's Lair. That's not a ride, but it would be pretty awesome!

It would have to be Pirates for me. And I wouldn't just use my backyard.....I'd have it go under my house and back up, with me being able to get off at any place and go behind a secret door or something to my living room, kitchen, etc.

Anyway, that's how I envision it.

Can you imagine just floating around "Splash Mountain" on Inner Tubes!!???? That'd be so cool! I don't think it'd work as well on Pirates or jungle cruise cause the current would push you off into a corner somewhere. It'd work on Small World, but I don't see the "attraction" of toobing IASW.

But Toobing "Splash"? That big drop??

What if i had the main street vehicles in my backyard. All of main street at my leisure. Having a sour day just go hop in my firetruck and drive down Coke Corner for a hot dog. wouldn't it be fun to play hide & seek all through main street. Think of the possiblites!!!
