if you could become presedent of disneyland what changes would u make

just wondering what evryone thinks if you could run disneyland what would you cange if anything. i would bring back the old tomorow land compleate with new film for startours and somthing new gor PM track and would pay more attion to frontierland i love the old west and that land is ignored to much

I would also do an entire revamp of Star Tours. I adore the ride, but I think it's becoming a little bit dated. I don't want people to get bored of that ride and see it disappear! I would definitely install larger screens, closer to the audience. Then I would have the film and audio enhanced. Lastly, I would add more bumps and movement to the ride. This overhaul would probably require the entire area to be gutted and closed for a while, but I think it would be worth it.

For the love of all that is good, I would switch 3D movies. No more Honey! I Shrunk the Audience. Yippy!

I would make sure that Pirate's Lair on TSI was only a temporary thing. I don't like the modification in the first place so the sooner we can get back to the original TSI, the better.

Cheaper water! Different sizes for the cups of soda. Better tasting food at some of the snack locations (Pizza Port, etc.)

I would also overhaul Tomorrowland, but I wouldn't make it exactly as it was before the 1998 remodel. I would come up with something to put on the PM track, but I wouldn't bring back the original PM. It's supposed to showcase the transportation of tomorrow, and that is definitely not the Peoplemover. I would also change movies in the Magic Eye Theater to give guests a rest from "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience" and pay more attention to Innoventions. That place could be really cool, but they don't update it very often. And I might try to bring in Mission:SPACE, too!

Other than that, I'd probably just try to bring Country Bear Jamboree back, the rest is perfect!

I know the prices should go down, but if you were the president of Disney, wouldn't you want more money for the company?

My changes would be to add some new rides to Frontierland, and if Disneyland is to get new rides not to base them all on Pixar.

than I would bring back old pirates and restore NOS to way it used to be. than I would put a new attraction in either frontier or critter country. they need a little more over those lands.

If more people come into the park because of slightly cheaper admission, then there will actually be more money from the company. More wallets come into the park, plus if each person spends less at the entrance gate, they'll have more money to spend inside the entrance gates. Odds are you'll make that discount back and more once in the park.

I agree with you on that, but than I also agree with martinroyalsdisneyfan as well. I think first I would add more rides to NOS, also would add more rights to CC! I would also re-open Sleeping Beauty's Castle.(Never got to go up there! so would want that back!) Let's see, that is probably about it that I can think of. Other than DL is perfect the way is it, I mean seriously if DL wasn't would any of us be on this site talking about this very subject? Any who, for now I leave it up to the Disney Imagineers and the President of DL who I think is doing a FINE job!

I would definitely reduce the prices big time, not just on admission (it's just HIGH and getting HIGHER, with no signs of going down), but on merchandise and food.

Tell me, though, shouldn't this be in the "Imagineer" section?

There's no reason why drinks at least can't come down at Disneyland. WDW sells bottled drinks for $2 from their ODV carts, and TDR sells fountain drinks for either 210 or 273 yen depending on size (Approx $1.75 or 2.35). TDR also sells bottled drinks from vending machines in the monorail stations for 200 yen ($1.75). Vending machine drinks at DLR cost $3.25 or more.

If I were president, I would... Get rid of A Bug's Land and Monsters Inc. ride and put those areas to better use, and Give Toy Story Mania a facelift, removing the Toy Story name, and giving whatever is being built there, a different and original theme that no one has thought of that doesn't involve a movie...

Bring back the Peoplemover, or Rocket Rods, or atleast something to occupy that track.. Move Astro Orbiter on top of the Peoplemover station, so... No more clogged up Tomorrowland entrance..
Uh... I would love to bring Caroussel of Progress back, yay..

Lets see... Get rid of Pirates Lair, and let the kids (Tom and Huck) just have their island back. I would also love it if Jack Sparrow gathers his belongs in POTC and move elsewhere, outside of the Disneyland Resort. Like at a gas station, or something.

I would give Pooh Bear a big, BIG refurb, to something far more advanced, like Pooh's Honey Hunt at Tokyo Disneyland...

A bug's land is the only truly kid-friendly area in all of DCA, I think it should stay, and Monster's Inc. is really cute! I'm personally kind of excited about Toy Story Mania. Besides, most of the original rides in DL were based on movies in some way, even the Matterhorn, so if you would remove the fantasy of entering the worlds of different movies, you wouldn't really stay true to the original vision of the park.

Wow, a lot of bitterness there! I've never been on TSI, and I personally don't know if they're doing away completely with the original theming (someone can correct me on this if they know) and I think what they did to POTC was awesome! Younger audiences couldn't relate to the classic version of the ride, but they can to the movies, so that's why they added Jack, Barbossa and Davy Jones. It's not their fault the movies were so successful that some young kids would ask where Jack Sparrow was.

I agree with the rest of your suggestions and think those would be a major improvement on the park.
