Default I need help QUICK! (Disney related project at school)

Okay, at my school we have to make bottle rockets for science, and we have to name it and decorate it too. I need someone to give me an idea of what to name it, I was thinking of decorating it like a space mountain car, so if anyone has any ideas, please post soon!

I already have a name for it, but I'm not sure if it sounds good, it's themed off of Soarin Over California at DCA, so here's the name:
Soarin 797 (seven-niner-seven)

So if anyone has any ideas on decoration, another name, or anything, please post ASAP!!!

You could call it B.R.X.1 (bottle rocket, experimental #1)

No, I am not kidding.
Then you could paint it like the salt flats car over in DCA, at Condor Flats, that would be cool!

I do not have a picture available, but if you have been to the gift shop over in DCA, located in Condor Flats, there is a race car on a "lift" overhead, that is what is called a "belly tank" land speed racer. It is shaped sort of like a submarine, but much more tapered at both ends. You should be able to google a "salt flats racer" or "belly tank land speed record racer" and get the idea. I am sure someone has a photo of that car in DCA though.
Good luck on your project!!!

Oh yeah I've seen that car before, but the only problem is that it's a CAR! No just kidding thanks for the idea, that paint job would look nice on my rocket.

I can't find a picture of it to replicate from, and by the way, we're not allowed to use spray paint because it doesn't allow the bottle to expand, therefore making it explode before launch.

Hey it may be a "car", but we humble gearheads call those kinds of cars
ROCKETSHIPS!
Oh by the way, you are entirely welcome! I would love to see pix when it is done!

Yea I'll try to take pictures before the launch, but the launch is tomorrow and I don't know if I'll have time. If not, I'll take the pics after the launch (hopefully it doesn't get covered in mud or land in a tree or something like that).

If you use a latex based paint, it should move somewhat with the suface of the bottle. If that does not work, use a white vinyl contact shelf paper (available at just about any department store) and some good markers, and Viola! there you go! Simple, quick, and beautiful!

i'm afraid of using anything that looks like spray paint because I don't want it to affect my launch and affect my grade, but I'll take that into consideration. What's viola? and what kind of markers would work best? Colored Sharpies?

Yes colored sharpies would work great, and "Viola" (pronounced Waa- Laa!) is a french word of exclamation that I guess means "there you go!" or kind of parallel to "cool!"

OH! I didn't know you spell "waa-laa" that way! Do you think construction paper works too? I dont know what that vinyl paper is that you're talking about, and it's too late to buy something now because it's past 9:00 P.M.

If you tape the construction paper to the bottle first (as in one side) and then wrap it around the bottle and tape it back to itself, you should be fine.
HOWEVER- If you carefully remove the label from the bottle, you should be left with what is essentially a clear bottle, that can the be "sharpied" in whatever pattern you wish, and it will have a wonderful "candied" (see through) quality to it! Now that will be cool!

Sorry, its IMPOSSIBLE to get the label off, but with all the fins and other things assembles to the side of the rocket, the ductape pretty much covers it up
