Does anyone know how many costumes are there for Mickey Mouse?

I mean Mickey's costumes, as in there's a Sorcerer Mickey, "regular" Mickey, Steamboat Willie, etc. How many are actually worn by CM's in the park?

I've had three pictures taken with Mickey at the dressing room picture spot at Mickey's house, ToonTown, and all three have had different costumes (Sorcerer, Bandleader from the cartoon and dressing gown.) I've seen him on Main Street in his "traditional" clothes and I think he wears an updated bandleader uniform on Main Street sometimes, too. And, of course, he wears his "kingly" robes in the Parade of Dreams. That's five for sure so far (I'm not sure about the Main Street bandleader, though, so won't count it.) Seems to me there's a Mayor Mickey suit somewhere in the mix, and I have a vague memory of a spaceman Mickey in Tomorrowland.

Hmmm... I stick with my five for sures for now. I'm sure the more expert VFers will have lots more experiences to pull from.

Who's to say how many he currently has, but the count is probably in the hundreds if you count all the ones that character has worn over the years in the park. I think the first character costumes on opening day were from Ice Capades. They looked real different from anything they have today.

That's true. I watched Dateline Disneyland on the Disneyland USA dvd, and the broadcast said that.

They were pretty hideous actually. Mickey looked like a big skinny poiny nosed rat, the kind you'd want to chase with a broom and stomp on. The costume was a very ugly micky head, big gloves and shoes, and big red shorts over a skin-tight black body suit. I couldn't help wondering why Mickey had breasts!

there is way too many costumes for mickey mouse to count. last i heard from my friend who's dad works there. he told me about 1000 costumes for mickey mouse to wear. but that was a long time ago he told me that.

He really does have a lot of costumes. I think his latest outfit is the 'King Mickey' attire seen in Kingdom Hearts I & II.
