I've only been to Disneyland and WDW as well. Love them both. I'm planning on going to DL Paris next summer.....as long as I can afford the airfare!

Disneyland USA and Disneyland Paris, with Tokyo Disneyland slated for next year.

I thought that Disneyland Paris was the more intentionally beautiful and well-designed park, but I didn't LOVE it the same way I love the original Disneyland. I could describe in pointed ways how Disneyland Paris is better, but my thought was never "therefore Disneyland Paris is better" but rather "wouldn't it be cool to have this in the real Disneyland". I guess it's a matter of DLP being a very good version of a Disneyland while DL is Disneyland.

I don't know if that theory will bear out for Tokyo Disneyland. I can see it being that way for TDL while seeing Tokyo Disneysea as something else entirely.

I've been to both parks here in DLR, and the four in WDW plus the waterparks.

I have only ever been to Disneyland.

Honestly, I don't plan to ever visit another Disney park, I don't see a point when all I ever need is just a few hours away. I just wouldn't have the same kind of nostalgia anywhere else.

I've been to Disneyland and Walt Disney World. I prefer Disneyland because it has that special charm and notalgia that no other Disney park can ever clone.

I've been to Disneyland, Walt Disney World and Disneyland Paris. I'd have to say I like DL the best, simply 'cause I've been there the most and I practically grew up with it. I've been going there almost every year since my birth.

I've been to DLR probably 10-11 times, and WDW 1
And I gotta say DLR sits better with me. I know where everything is at. WDW kinda feels strange going through. Well mainly MK, but the other parks there are great and definitely worth visiting once or twice.

Default WDW and Disneyland

WDW is impressive because it is JAW-DROPPINGLY HUUUUUGE.

There are tons of things to do there, and it takes days and days to see absolutely everything, which is a cool deal.

But that's kind of where it stops for me.

I like Disneyland better, and there's one reason for it.

It's the original. You can see it in the care that was taken when the rides were built, and especially when their queue areas were built.

Over at WDW, a lot of the rides, and especially the queue areas, feel like they are fast-food versions of the originals, plopped down into a strip mall, with cheesy facades and hardly any personality at all.

I haven't been to Expedition Everest, I have heard that is really great, with Indiana-Jones style attention to detail... but the impressions that I got from going there was that it was far more of an "Amusement Park" than a manifestation of Walt's dream...

We're talking Magic Kingdom, of course, because that is the only correlation that I can make due to the fact that the Disneyland replica is just one small part of the WDW property.

But if you want 14 straight days of awesome fun and exploration with your favorite characters, fireworks shows, golfing, and new experiences every day that you are there, head to Walt Disney World. When you look at a map and see the size of the property, you can't appreciate it.... you have to be there, then look at the map, and if you're like me, you'll gasp, "Oh... My... GOD.", lol!
