Question Haunted Mansion Holiday makes no sense to me

during Christmas it does. but during Halloween? I would imagine that haunted mansion would be a perfect ride to ride during Halloween. but is Changed just for the holiday. thoughts?

Wasn't the movie about a "crossing-over" between Halloween and Christmas?

....Ok, I could start a whole rant with the starting statement, but I wont.

What's not to get? Just like Xanderick stated "Its what happens when two holidays COLLIDE!"

Yes two holidays have collided into a 3.5 month stretch where we ride the same ride through Halloween and Christmas. Why have retailers never thought of this? It's the perfect opportunity to sell Christmas stuff starting 2 weeks after Labor Day!

Yeah, I agree, it starts too soon. It feels pretty awkward in the beginning of October hearing "HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE! heeee hee heee hee hahahahahaaaa *crash*"

Yes, that is true, good time to sell stuff. Lol, specially Nightmare stuff to me, but the thing with me is I look foward to this time for the new items. I look all year round so the sooner the better.

Thumbs down proper seasons, but too often

I think that it's great for the two holidays, but here's the problem...

Loading that darned thing up every single year makes for a LOT of down-time. I think that to make it more special, and to keep it from being closed so much, they should do it every other year. Period. It's just too much time for the doors to be closed on one of Disneyland's 3 greatest attractions...

I agree that it's closed too long for setup and take down, but personally I LOVE HMH! Even the Christmas tunes and happy holidays theme at Halloween time :) During Halloween time, I look at it as Jack getting ready for Christmas cause in the movie he started the day after Halloween. It makes sense to me that it would cover both holidays.

I like Mighty Unicorns idea. Do HMH every other year and then during the off years maybe put a few santa hats on the ghosts or something.
