Talking The Haunted Mansion doom buggies

I remember that I was younger and riding The Haunted Mansion. I was thinking what the ride will be like if you didn't get off the doom buggy. So, I was wondering, anybody done that before? I'm not going to Disneyland anytime soon, so, I want to know what's it like.
Sincerely, a brother of a half-demon,
Sesshomaru-sama

The doombuggies turn the corner and go down a short unthemed black hallway, then begin their descent down the stairway to the loading area. Nothing spectacular at all, and not recommended that you try it because the CM at unload will simply stop the ride right there and call security.

I did it once when I was a kid. My friend and I got back on the ride and rode it back to the beginning, but like Chris said, it's just a dark hallway followed by a descent down the staircase. They didn't call security, though, they just stopped the ride and escorted us to the nearest emergency exit.

This handrawn map shows how well and how ingenious they use the space in that show building...

Wow, pretty cool. I always wanted to stay on the ride after the exit to see where it goes.

I did once, only because my sister had to be in wheelchair for a twisted ankle she got the night before so yeah, pretty much like Chris said, dark hall, hear funny noises like the machines moving the doombuggies, nothing that great.

Yes, you have to take that route all the time, you go down in the elevator just like everyone else, but when you get on the doombuggie loading area you leave your wheelchair there, it stays there they dont move it. When you come back around full circle you hop back onto your wheelchair and go up the elevator and out the exit door you see in the foyer.

Default ha

One time I decided to stick around on the return cycle of the HM and there was this guy that was standing there on a platform as I went by with a weird smile on his face.
I never figured out if he was real or AA, but alls I knows is, he had a lot of stains on his shirt.
