maybe Disneyland_Guy is talking about the version in which Sallah talks for most of the time. The version that shows that guys turning into a skeleton and stuff. There's that version and the woman talking...maybe he means the Sallah version. But you're right, Sallah does say in RDCT not to look at the idol in the "Chamber of Destiny". possible mix up?

come to think of it though, I haven't really heard of the hall of promise...and that sounds more like it would be the part outside of the 3 doors, right before you enter

I like all 3 of them. But my fav is the Observatory of the Future. I like it because of the stars, the eye & the purpleish light.

Default I almost forgot...

Ever wanted to know which chamber did Indy went to? Here's a cool fact:

Indy went through the Observatory of the Future and looked into the Eye of Mara & saw himself and Sallah lifting the Ark of the Covenant. This is in the ride map that they used to sell. In the map, Indy writes that he went into the observatory & looked in the amulet and saw him & Sallah lifting the ark in a tomb in Egypt. He wonders if he was really seeing the future or it was wishful thinking.

I saw it, he looks egyptian-like or a temple slave pouring water in to the Fountain of Youth (which might randomly turn you into a land or sea animal, a anthromorphic animal [furry], wereanimal, grants you extra life, make you become a super human, immortality, and the Mara's curse).

Where did you learn all this? Is it actually pouring fake water, and is it one of those stone statues? One more thing....can you tell us where exactly it is located?
