All, cause I am a Indy fantatic and Sallah and Indy would visit all of the doors to find out it's secrets of the Temple of the Forbidden Eye. Also, the Observatory of the Future is filled with sparkling and stars. Mara tells your future to each tourists, if they don't look into the eyes of Mara.

I am not greedy, but do enjoy buying my favorite games and movies. I would get a lot of gold and give it to the poor people and the homeless. And I would also save gold for my family. Just don't look into the eyes of Mara.

If I drink the fountain of youth, I will become younger or drunk or immortal.
Don't peek into Mara's eyes or he will sent you to the Gates of Doom. Some tourists or people mistaken Mara as a female goddes. But his voice is male and his face is masculine.

"A chilling tale, Indy."

The Hall of Promise is the hall where Mara face is, in the Temple of the Foribidden Eye. Just choose the door that you want and Mara will grant your wish. Watch the Eye of the Globe again and now you will know what is the Hall of Promise. It is the pre-show film in the safety film part.

This is the Hall of Promise

This is the Chamber of Destiny

By the way...

Nobody seems to like the Fountain of Youth that much! This is how I think the results should be!

1. In first place, The Observatory of the Future (which is already there! )
2. In second, The Fountain of Youth (nobody likes the watery lights and sounds? )
3. Last, The Chamber of Earthly Riches (gold isn't that interesting )

I think the observatory of the future, imagine you could see who will win big sporting events to gamble on to win money that way, you could see how you will die and try to prevent that as much as possible and live as long as possible, I know thats not forever but its good enough for me, plus you could see what we finally figure out to be the cause of Cancer and other diseases so we could cure them now. PLUS a bunch of other stuff.

I like the chamber of Earthly Riches, because you see treasures on the side of you. When Mara says "You seek the Treasure of Mara? Glitter in gold, it is yours!" I say, "Great! now I can have my own mansion!"

I like the observatory of the future, I like looking at the stars from up above and the eye of Mara, its so beautiful, plus having little glimpses of the future seems like an awsome power .

I picked the Chamber of Earthly Riches, because that is what reminds me most of Indy, and feels the most Indy to me. Maybe because that one is use in all the press stuff!

Eye on the Globe never mentions anything about a "Hall of Promise." Neither the full version, or the edited version version that is now shown in the film room, says anything about it. I can give you the entire script if you would like. I've never heard of a "Hall of Promise" either, but I know there are apparently names for many things in IJA that weren't exactly made public. In Remember, Sallah warns "As you enter the Chamber of Destiny, do not look into the eyes of the idol!" Well...the only place to do this is in the so-called "Hall of Promise," but it's referred to as the "Chamber of Destiny." The entrance room with the moving walls should merely be the Chamber's entrance.

There's just one little hitch - the ancient temple idol. Dr. Jones' longtime friend Sallah warns that if you so much as peek into its eyes, the next stop on your intinerary will be the gates of doom. Here's silent film star Norah West, one of the temple's recent visitors. She visited the Fountain of Eternal Youth. No more matronly roles for Norah, move over Gene Harlow! This jubliant junior visited the Chamber of Earthly Riches. Looks like his allowance has gone up. Hey buddy, can ya spare a dime? How 'bout a million of 'em? Why even Sallah confessed that he had recently visited the Observatory of the Future. Maybe he can tell us who will win the World Series? Let's ask. "Oh yes about the series, my friends, the baseball players are the big winners. Someday, they will be making millions of dollars a year!" Hmm, perhaps even the vision of the gods can be a bit blurred. Will it happen? Keep your Eye on the Globe!
Well there ya have it...don't see any mention of a "Hall of Promise."

-- Peoplemover "Your path now leads to the gates of doom... AH HAHA! :old_wink: " Matt

EDIT: And for the record, http://www.geocities.com/TheTropics/Shores/1345/ calls it the Hall of Promise, but gives no explanation why. It's also very interesting that the inscriptions, that site translates them all, talk about a Chamber of Destiny, but give no mention of a Hall of Promise. Let me know if I've just missed it, I don't see it.
