Thanks for the info FF. My first day down there is Friday the 19th but will not make it to DCA until Saturday afternoon. Do you think this would mean that only Grad nighters can ride SM when it is turned on ? I guess I should ride it in the morning eh !!

Grad night is completely separate from normal park hours and runs from midnight to 6 am-ish. You won't have to worry about it heh

I am so nice...here you go...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2l-ZDyfiMnU

It's a very dark movie of MOST of RockIt Mountain (except the very beginning and end).

ROCKIT MOUNTAIN REPORT:

-Dancing shadows are projected instead of stars
-The meteor was not lit up (they're still working on that)
-Lots of flashing lights and metal arches like in Paris's version of Rockin' Roller Coaster
-The music was...meh, ok (personally I liked it)
-The first lift hill had different colors and more flashing lights
-New projection in the second lift tunnel and new light patterns in the brake tunnel (trippy colors all around you)
-The inside was fairly bright, and the track was more visible due to the effects (like in Rockin' Roller Coaster in Paris)
-Pretty cheesy dialouge
-Not all the effects are turned on yet, so we'll have to be patient

Overall, RockIt Mountain is a fine, ok experience, similar to Paris's Rockin' Roller Coaster, but without the launch and loops, and with better special effects (like the trippy launch tunnel, the trippy shadows, and the trippy brake tunnel). Still needs a bit of work, but we'll have to wait and see the rest of the effects...
