That sound when I first heard it there reminded me of a nearby 'family-fun center' arcade. You know, those places where you get tickets and exchange them for prizes?... I dunno, I guess some of the machines made those sounds a lot.

I need that sound installed by my desk. Then whenever someone comes up I hear it. And if someone annoying comes up, it'll go BOINNNGGG and I'll be warned.

Here's a better question: what do the different sounds mean? You have the 'whistle', then the "brring" one....I've heard both, and on different ocassions.

brrrrriiing means you've entered the park for the first time.

whistle means you're re-entering

birthday means it's your birthday and you're entering the park for the first time.

fantasmic is random and i'm not sure exactly

That's odd, because I've heard both the brrrriiing (is there a name for this sound?!), and the whistle on first entry.

I'm sure that the ticket scanner's don't find it as amusing as we do though. After waiting in line for a while it can get to your head VERY fast.

I'm not sure what the brrring is, but I know that the whistle is from the song "Zip-a-dee-doo-dah" from the movie "Song of the South" (right after Uncle Remus says, "Where is that bluebird?")

Whenever I hear the sweet sound, I INSTANTLY think of TINKER BELL. I mean for some reason I just think of it as Tink welcoming you into the park. Anyone else feel that same way or thought that as well>?
