Man, I could have gone today if I had registered yesterday. I hope they keep this through 2009, because what if people like me (who didn't realize they had to register) missed out on their birthdays? That would be the ultimate fail.

When you think about it, Sure this promotion sounds great, BUT you are still gonna need lots of money, unless your lucky enough to live really close to the Disneyland Resort XD

Very true. The only thing people would only need to pay is only food, souveniers, parking (if not an AP member), gas, and hotel (if staying more than a day).

Sincerely, a brother of a half-demon,

Yeah, it kind of defeats the purpose of going to Disney World, doesn't it? Oh well. *still wants to go*

Not really. If you want to travel all the way to WDW, you'll still be able to receive free admission at the WDW park of your choice on your birthday.

So if I have an AP, what do you think I should do? Is the "birthday fun card in an amount equal to the price of a 1-day One Day/One Park base ticket* for you to use on your birthday for merchandise, recreation or fun activities at select participating locations at Disneyland® Resort" essentially a big gift card? That seems pretty nice.

Or what about the free 1 day/1 park ticket for another day? I wouldn't really use it because I always have an AP, but do you think I could give that to a friend or do you think it would only work for me?

Yeah supposedly its only for you.

If you're lucky your birthday will fall after a price-increase next year and we'll get gift cards worth a few bucks more.

But please, no more price increases next year.

You have the same birthday as my dad! Haha.

This is a seriously awesome idea. I already have an AP, but I am all for the Birthday Fun Card... How rad is that?!

Although I was kind of hoping to be a CM by my next birthday (which isn't until July), in which case it wouldn't apply to me at all...

Still an awesome idea!

A question for anyone who can answer it. If you are already a Annual Pass holder, Why should you have to register when they already have that information in there system? When you get a pass you already have to provide your licence to get it which shows your birthday. Seems like a great way to collect information also about there visitors. I have a small child who's information is closely guarded. Any thoughts?
