I used to always go on IJA when we entered the park. We usually always walk under the left side of the DLRR so we head that direction. Lately though, it's been the Jungle Cruise due to the fact that we usually stop at the River Belle restaurant, which is right in front of Jungle Cruise and eat a Mickey Mouse Pancake first! We then usually do the same thing you do Cap10hook. We go from there all the way to Critter Country and then back track towards Frontierland. Any ride would work for me though- I just LOVE being in the park!

Matterhorn :) Or sometimes Space Mountain, depending on how crowded it seems.

It depends on if we start in DCA or DL for me. If we start in DCA then we usually hit Grizzly River Run first, but if we decide to start in DL then its usually Jungle Cruise or IJA.

if you go on any dark rides, I usually try to beat my last score on Buzz Lightyear, but if you're only planning thrills, I'd say Space Mountain

Ah, the best laid plans...

On my first trip, my first ride was the DLRR which was after watching the 50th anniversary movie. However, for my second trip, I conspired with my friend that we would start at the Disney Animation building in DCA to get in the mood, then migrate over to Disneyland, do the grand circle tour on the train and then disembark in New Orleans Square to see the then-new bride in the Haunted Mansion. However, when we had finished at Disney Animation we got a call from a friend who works in Guest Relations. He was taking a break in 15 minutes, so we just took the horse-drawn trolley up and down Main Street before meeting him, and then with him we went straight for the HM. I forget what happened after that ^_^

Ordinarily, though, I guess I would want to ride the train first ^_^

Typically, we ride Buzz first. Why ? Because when we enter the park, some get in line to buy coffee at the bakery. The rest of us head to Space to get FP for later on. Then we usually meet somewhere in TL and drink our coffee. Since we are right there, we enter Buzz which has no lines first thing. Then, we may or may not drop into Star Tours if we're up to it that early. Then we head over to N.O and ride POTC and HM. By then we are usually eligible to get FP's again, so we grab one for Indy. So we then have FP for Space and Indy for usage later on. However, sometimes when we grab our FP for Space, we just can't ignore the short if any line at Space so we'll hop on to Space.
But I like to wait for Space and Indy til later on...let the anticipation build up !!

I think its so funny how we all have like, "morning routines" at Disneyland. Because I know for me that's really what it is. Haha. I have a pretty planned out morning whenever I go to Disneyland.

Always IJA, just because waiting in line for that thing is torture. At DCA we always go to TSMM first, followed by a trip on Soarin'. After we hit Soarin' we usually go to Tower of Terror, Muppet*Vision and Monsters, before leaving the park.

Thinking about it, the first thing I usually ride is one of the Main Street vehicles. I like the fire truck or the omnibus. Once I get to the hub, I head west into Adventure land and go on either the Jungle Crusie, IJA or POTC depending on lines.

For me, it has to be Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. I just love the queue, and fantastic details of Toad Hall, I love hearing the Oliver Wallace music from the movie and I love the sounds I hear, even the safety instructions are awsome. I usually start my day, with at least 12 or even 20 rides before I go to something else, after all Mr. Toad is my 31 favorite and my record is 81 times in one day. Go Toady.
