Default First ride?

Since I only get to go to disneyland every year or two because I live so far. When the time comes for me to go, it's alway a big deal deciding what ride to go on first. Star tours is one of my favourites to hit first because its not tooooo classic disney but still epic, and has a sweet entrance and lineup.
i like to hit the big rides like splash mountain, pirates, haunted mansion...at night, even though a lot of them are inside, i still get a different magic from them when it's night time and a little later in the day.
What ride do you hit first?

I typically go to Grizzly River Run. Weird, I know, but it's one of my family's favorites :)

Either Indy, Pirates or Space Mountain. Space Mountain is such a RUSH to ride first thing in the morning! It really wakes me up! We TRY make a point to ride a different ride each time for our first ride too (but sometimes we are stuck on our favorites). Next visit is going to be the Jungle ride. Either way have fun. Pick something you haven't ridden for your first ride yet.

POTC or IJA are always on my list to go on first. I usually grab a fast pass for Space or Splash first before heading there so that way my wait's already begun by the time I've loaded the first ride.

The Horse Drawn Trolley. Gotta have that leisurely ride up Main Street, hearing the clip clop of the horse. It's really great to see the Partners Statue come into close up view, turn the curve of the Hub, see the Matterhorn, and the stop right in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle. I give a couple of little thank you pats to the horse and then I'm on my way to Big Thunder!

We usually hit Jungle Cruise first just to start the day and just go from there. We always ride POTC, Big Thunder and Matterhorn twice to three times so it's never really our first one of the day.

We always ride POTC first. The first time I ever went to Disneyland, POTC was the first ride I went on, and it was so magical that it remains very special to me to this day.

Well I like them all but I guess it would have to be.......the Haunted Mansion. If you get there before anyone else does in the morning you can ride it all by yourself. Which I have done a couple of times and it makes it feel spookier.

Before we had kids we always went on Space Mountain first. Now that we have a son, we went on his favorite first, Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room. That was a fun way to start the day, with pineapple juice in hand! Yum!

We always start (on the first day) with the Jungle Cruise. It's the second attraction to the left, then you go straight on (riding all attractions you come across) til Critter Country. We call it the "Grand Hemisphere of Disneyland". Then you work your way through Frontierland, Fantasyland, then finish at Tomorrowland! Then it's free-game.

Then, for the other days of Disneyland, the first ride is whatever we feel like! No rhyme or reason, you just go!

My family almost always does a round on the DLRR first then we do the carousel. We tend to do family rides before we break off into groups for the day.
