Finding Nemo submarine ride (soft openings?)

I've read on various sites that the ride is opening on the 11th of June. Some said that cast members and annual pass holders will get to ride it before this date..is it possible that the general public will have a chance to ride the ride before the official opening? (I'm hoping so! because my trip ends on the 10th and I REALLY want to go on it)
If you know anything about this, let me know!

It is possible that there will be one or two days of "soft openings" available to the general public, however if you read Al Lut'z 2/20/07 column he looks at it from a simple mathematical persprective. Two days of CM opening, two days for AP opening, limited ride capacity and a longer ride time (slowing overall throughput per hour) means long long long long long long lines.

We'll be at the park June 2-7, so we'll just miss the opening.....but I'm hoping that they'll have a "soft" opening while we're there....but we'll see....I know my wife doesn't care one way or the other because she gets claustrophobic on that ride.....or at least she did on the old subs.

i dont believe everything i read on the net. i got this from the horse's mouth and this is what i was told. nemo ride is going to open june 11th as planned. i talk to my friend every time i see him. he works on the rides when they have to be redone. the soft openings are still up in the air as far as he knows. but with the pipe that broke they are still working on that daily.

who know Monsters INC. opened a Month in advance. because it was suppose to open till the 22 of January and it opened the week of New Years at least to my knowledge because i was there that week.
we will all have to wait and see, but its cool for me because im not going till the week of the July 17th for the B-Day of course! Its the best time to be at the park other than the Holiday Season.

Space Mountain 2.0 was operating by June 22, 2005, so I imagine is would have a soft opening.

Soft openings for Space Mountain 2.0 didn't begin until at least July 1, 2005. We were in the park from June 25-30, 2005 and we checked daily, but the ride was still closed.
