I highly doubt that the new dragon's head snapped off. But it is a bummer that the big new show will be dragonless for some time.

I'm afraid the new dragon is not quite ready for Friday yet. Of course, in my estimated guess, maybe it might be ready either later this month or in July. That way I want to see the new dragon on August 1st.

It looks like it will take 2-3 weeks to get the dragon running properly. That being said, it won't prevent the show from happening you will just see the alternate ending where Maleficent stays up on her tall thing and uses here staff the light the rivers of america on fire.

I have heard several rumors about the dragon. Someone (who supposedly works at dland) said it just wasn't ready. People on here sad the head is broken. I guess we will find out in a few short hours.

Dragon is decapitated. Its gonna be hiatus for a few weeks.

Even if they were able to repair the armiture in the neck immediately, they would still need to program the movements, which takes forever. Hence, the time delay.

There was an article about the Dragon in the LA Times today, and it mentions the rumors around the net on Disney sites about the dragon's head falling off. However, it also quotes a Disneyland spokesperson: "The dragon's head did not fall off."

Anyway, let's just all hope that it won't take all summer to get it up and running!

It's just broke. I don't think anyone but the people working on it knows what exactly is wrong.

All right, so the "official" story I heard today was that the Dragon's jaw is broken, but no one knows when it will make its big debut.

flotsam and jetsam look AWESOME :D

too bad about the lack of a dragon. apparently they builders got the psi all wrong with the dragon. they'll be working on it for a while. they were testing it one time and the wings completely ripped off. another time, the head fell off =/

o well. the other new stuff is pretty spectacular. the new lighting during the finale with sorcerer mickey blew my mind.

Soooooo many stories are going around about what is wrong with maleficent! The head fell off, the jaw isn't working, etc etc etc. I really don't care anymore. I just hope its up and working soon.
