Fantasia Ice Cream

Hi... do any of you remember the Fantasia Ice-Cream they used to have... the original?... It was a receipe that "Carnation" created especially for Walt Disney and was only served in Disneyland... not WDW or the other lands... however, since the ice-cream parlor now is the Gibson Girl, they had to change the receipe or not have it at all due to legal rights... I can't remember if they still serve it or not, but the last time I had it, the cherries were marachino, not the Bing Cherries that they used to use... I remember when the ice-cream cones to to be stacked 3 high... anyone remember?

YES I DO !!!
I was soooo mad they got rid of it. I just couldn't believe it - How could they do this to us !!!
Oh well, better for my waistline I guess, :)

i don't remember ever eating it, but a while ago i was looking at the 50th Anniversary map, the one that was a reproduction of the original DL map, and on there it lists that ice cream as on of the flavors at the parlor.

The flavor disappeared when Disneyland changed ice cream companies.
