Exchanging a broken Item

OK I'm not sure if this belongs to this thread or not but I just need help real quick with this question. Ok so my sister and I went to DL for New Years Eve and she bought me this sorceror hat. It's blue and the ears light up and everything but all of a sudden it doesn't light up anymore. So I tried changing the batteries several times and it doesnt work still. Well I am going to be there on the 26th...So what my question is is does anyone think they will either fix it or just give me one that works...she doesn't have the receipt and I don't have the tags???. I didn't expect it to break. Especially since I hardly ever used it. Well if anyone knows it will be much appreciated.

I have returned broken items before, but always with a reciept.
you might want to call ahead to the world of disney store and ask
before trying this return.

Chances are if you bought it that long ago, they no longer carry it, therefore you'd be out of luck.
However, like protostars said, call the World of Disney store or Disneyland DelivEars and see if they have another one. If they still carry it, they will probably replace it if you explain the problem.

I've exchange items twice with no receipt. The CM's were very nice about it too. I think as long as they still carry the item they will be willing to exchange it for you.

OK thanks everyone. I did call and the lady pretty much said without a reciept you might be able to do it but she can't give me a definite yes. So we will see.
