Default downtown disney from 2-4AM!

hey guys, been a while since ive been on here, but recently err last night, me and a friend =] went to downtown disney and explored how it was from 2AM-4AM it was surprisingly pretty big when no one is around....we just had some starbucks earlier that that day, so it took us hmm about an hour and a half to find a open restroom, somehow we went into a ballroom? and this hotel looking place and ended up at goofy's kitchen that had this crazy trippy painting on the wall....i was just wondering is there a rule or regulation of what time you can wander that place or is it open 24/7 365 for walking? and does anyone know what time they shut off the waterfalls near the hotel? because shes never seen them before but we got there and they were shut off =[, and anoyone else have any fun suggestions what to do around there? thanks!

Stumbled on into the Disneyland Hotel. I don't think there are any rules that you can't walk around there. Some people surely can't sleep or have situations occur where they might have to get up and be out at that time on the grounds. Security might get suspicious as to why or what you're doing but no harm no foul you know? I think the only thing open that late there is the Neverland bar, and I believe that closes around 2am so...no much else to do until maybe around 7 or 8ish am.

I don't think the waterfalls ever shut off. At night they do a cool effect with color changing LED's and it looks cool. They do close off the walkway at night that goes right under the waterfalls, but they don't turn them off. As for walking through Downtown Disney its perfectly fine. We did it a couple times at a broadcast convention, and got some pretty awesome night shots.

There aren't any nightclubs? I thought they did have them.

Not really... they advertise clubs and stuff, but there really aren't too many. House of blues will stay open late. I think they also have a place called the voodoo lounge, which is also open late.

The waterfalls are definitely shut off late at night. I stayed in the Wonder Tower in January with my window directly over the waterfall. Every morning the waterfall was off.

Rates at the Disneyland Hotel vary depending on room type, season, and source of booking. But on average, between $220-275 is the average without any type of discounts.

If you're wandering around DTD and the hotels without actually being a guest, you risk being cited for loitering or asked to leave, since the place is technically closed.

Check rates on the website. They vary depending on season and availability.
