Does this make sense?

From my past experiences at DL during spring break it has been pretty packed, and the best rides such as Indie, POTC, and all of the mtns have been jammed packed with huge lines, so obviously these are the top rides that the majority of customers want to see...
Now, i just checked the referbishment schedule to see what rides and attractions are going to be closed during my stay in April (spring break) and POTC is closed for like 3 months! Usually the rides are closed in the off season and closing the ride down when the ON season is coming in just doesnt make sense to me..POTC is a great attraction and ppl love going on it, it just doesnt seem right to me,....how about you?

It is closed for major repairs. They are adding Jack Sparrow from the movie POTC to the attraction itself. That's why its closed for such a long amount of time.

Go read the POTC changes link noted above. The changes don't sound profound, but will tie the ride to the movie in a fun way. I loved the way the movie had so many references to the ride ("...that dog is never goin' to move.") and the changes as reported will just tie the two together.

I am so mad about the Black Pearl changes. This ride is an original. Grrr!
