Default Do You Want Country Bears Back?

Do you want to see the Country Bears come back? It doesn't have to replace the Pooh ride.

As good as the show was, it would just be unpractical... it would cost way too much money to take out an entire attraction, find someplace to store the old attraction, then re-build the entire Country Bears set, along with creating a new show for it, too. Naw, just fixing up what Disneyland already has is definately more practical and would probably appeal to a greater audience... especially us, the younger generation, who knows Winnie the Pooh more than we know the Country Bears.

I'd love to see it back in some form. I'd like to see a ride-through in place of Winnie the Pooh, but something over by Grizzly Run in DCA would give me a second reason to head over to DCA each visit, so that would be OK, too. Although I think ttz... makes a good point, I also think DCA has a bunch of cheesy attractions that are not pulling their weight (or making $$$) so it wouldn't be too much of a waste to replace them with CBs.

I agree with Protostars. The Golden Dreams Theater would be the perfect location for it. Wouldn't even need to re-theme the building just put up some redwood trees around it and you're done.

Definantly. NOw I would like for it to be in its own place, the original place, but I understand that it costs a lot of money. Yeah maybe in DCA would be ok, it would also give me another reason to go. Bring them back (throwing a tantrum)

I would love for the CBJ to come back! Only in DCA though... (i'm kinda a fan of the Winnie the Pooh attraction- even if I'm the only one!)

^ Are you sure she is a Mrs?

Well in any event. Pooh (the character) is da bomb. He had the best TV series (Adventures of Winnie the Pooh) and some of the best videos and stuffed animals I ever saw. I have a huge collection of merchandise based off of Winnie the Pooh. But the ride needs to have more money and thought poured into it. It is the standard Pressler/Harris cheap ride. A quickie.

Those of us that remember the CBJ have an emotional attachment to it. That's why we want it back. Those that don't remember it or do not appreciate Country Music could care less. Towergal, Nesha, and I though remember it well, and I see it at WDW, the old version, and remember the newer version, the Vacation Hoedown at Disneyland. If you never saw that version, I could see why you don't like it. The version at WDW is the seventies version. It has the hokie version which I enjoy but others don't. The vacation hoedown had a broader range of music, and for those of you curious, we have,

The Great Outdoors
Thank God I'm a Country Bear
California Bears (er girls)

and many others from beach music, to Rock and Roll, to Country Music, with great costuming and sets. Same goes for the Christmas special.

If you haven't yet, look for a video of all three. I reccomend a DVD I won't name so as not to advertise that costs fifteen dollars, or you could download a video, there used to be one for each here.

The Pooh ride was cute once, but it needs to have more thought. The animtronics should be more advanced as to move their mouths and have more movement. Rather more advanced. The ride could be longer. How about a boat ride through the Hundred Acre Wood? Instead of a huge montage of cartoons from Blustery Day, to Tigger Too, and then to Hunny Tree? New stories are the best. And Pooh had many new stories made for TV. Some of these are AMAZING. Like protecting hunny from a gigantic woozle. Hey! New Pooh ride based of a giant Woozle, riding in a runaway hunny cart?

Pooh deserves better treatment than what he's got. Either make the ride much better, or take it out and bring back Henry, Wendell, Trixie, Clarence, Teddi Berra, Bunny, Bubbles, Beulah, Terrence, Liver Lips, and Sammy. The CBJ.

But in accordance to theming, pooh is in the proper place.

Seeing as you live in PA I guess you haven't been to WDW much. Or DLR for that matter. If you see it often when your young and stupid like us, it grows on you and becomes an obsession. Well maybe not, but sort of.

i dont think cbj should replace the golden dreams show.yes,i would rather see cbj than golden dreams but the building is not right for it.because cbj wouldnt fit because it douse not have to do with the bay area.they should put it near the grizzly. i think they should extend the grizzly recreation area over paradise pier and take out mulholland madness and make a new building for cbj.Move mullholland madness inside the old millionaire building and make it a cooler ride.
