Oh, that's so sweet. I think maybe I got so into it once that happened to me. I remember tearing up and smiling at the same time. I get far more touched when I see the parade in Fantasyland than Main Street. Something about seeing the Alice ride in the background and the teacups and hearing Walt's voice at the same time, maybe seeing Tinkerbell over it all, gives me goosebumps (even when it's hot).

"And best of all it's a festival"...I have to sing along. It makes the whole experience more enjoyable and heightens the emotion for me. Singing along energizes me so that I am ready for the rest of the day and night at the park. I love to go on the Matterhorn right after singing at the parade.

Does singing produce endorphins? Feels like it does to me.

Oh yes! It does your body good too because it helps the oxygen flow. Just listening to music can change your heartbeat, slower or faster. Music is the most wonderful thing in the world and singing always lifts me up.

I sang along to it on Tuesday.

The person I was with was surprised to find that I knew all the words.

When you have the audio and listen to it in the car on the way to work, you begin to start to know it all. So now when I go to the parks, i sing along, to get surprised looks from performers. I had one even ask me, do you work here? no ive just seen the parade about 200 times since 2005.

I've gotten surprised looks from the performers as well, at the Pixar Play Parade too, the lyrics in Countdown to Fun do say "everybody sing along we wanna hear the whole the whole crowd" so I sing along.

I've only seen it twice (considering i've only been to DLR twice), but each time, I sung along with the music. The first time I saw it, I got REALLY into it, especially when I saw Mickey Mouse. That just made me feel soo warm and fuzzy inside! I LOVE Mickey Mouse!

I sing along to both Parade of Dreams and Pixar Play Parade every time. Couldn't tell you how many times I have seen PoD (too many to count) but Pixar I have seen and photographed 18 times.

I have never seen the parade, but I have the show stop on a CD that I burned. I sing along to it.

Sincerely, a brother of a half-demon,

I think guests should be a little more enthusiastic during shows. Lots of other people are having fun making themselves look totally silly, why not join them?

The only time I do that though is if i'm with a friend, it's fun though since we've had people watch us a few times. I wish more people would get into though, it's Disneyland! Who says the guests aren't allowed to perform too?
What they said :)

I agree that people need to, well, have more fun! I've seen people just sitting there and not even clapping or anything. Or smiling, which is just kind of sad. And they act like you're annoying for getting into it and enjoying yourself.

I don't know how so many people can look like they're not having fun. It's like their smile muscles got broken. Poor unfortunate souls.

One thing I will say, though, that while it's all well and good to have fun, having fun at the expense of others is not something I approve of. Being obnxious (which some people are) is uncalled for. If you take people's attention away from the parade with your antics, I'd say you're annoying at that point.

I ALWAYS sing during the show stops and to be perfectly honest, I always end up freaking out at least one of the performers. The last time I was there, the first show stop was with the Tinker Bell float and one dressed as Merryweather came up to me and used her wand as a microphone and placed it near my mouth and did the "rock on" hand gesture. It was so much fun! As soon as she was done, she pointed me and my friend Lisa out to Peter Pan who subsequently came up, gave us high fives and began dancing with us. It's moments like that that make me feel special and really feel that Disney magic.

Thinking about it, since quite a few of us will be out there Saturday, who's down for doing a mass sing along to freak out the guests and the performers? I think that would be awesome!

I read this and got a vision of Snoopy dancing on the piano in A Charlie Brown Christmas. He was so happy and carefree, getting into the music, and he got looks like he was annoying. Then the poor thing got embarrassed and slid away. I would feel like Snoopy did if someone looked annoyed at me for getting into the parade.
