Exclamation Disturbing memories while waiting for Fantasmic!

I just curious, because one time we were sitting waiting for Fantasmic!. I was just looking around, and then I saw this lady throw up into one of the planters while her husband held her hair. After a while it started to smell. Luckily it was breezy.LOL.
Any of you guys have had some bad thing like this happen to you????

I once saw a lady throwing up too, hehe, maybe we were there the same time, it was about 5 years ago, and another time, two guys were about to fight, something about invading each other's space in the limited seating infront of the lake, but they worked out their differences just right, scary though :S

I've waited for and hour in the Torrential downpour hurricane rain for Fantasmic! Most people left, but I decieded to wait it out, and about 20 minutes before the show, it cleared up so they decided to go own with the show! So while it started to be a not-so-great experience, it turned out to be great!

While waiting for Fantasmic...lets see. Oh yes. I witnessed a stupid mother fail to watch her kid, who was running around. Here comes this kid steps right on my foot as I was sitting there, pulled my hair, and stole my light up rose that was for a special friend. I walked over to the mother and said. Can you please keep your kid under control. She just stepped on my foot, pulled my hair, and stole my light up rose. If you dont know how to control your kid, put her on a leash. The mother was very rude back to me. Well we are at Disneyland, a place to have fun. I said, yes a place to have fun, but safe fun, and controlled fun. If you dont control her I will have a Cast Member call for sercurity. She goes on and on about how im ruining her experience. Meanwhile all the Fantasmic GCs are cracking up. So finally this lady gets her kid to sit down. Thank god. Then the kids starts yelling and screaming that she cant get up and run. The mother yells at me. See what you did, now she is not going to shut up.

Here you leave the world of today, and your brain and enter.....

I actually try not to watch Fantasmic at DL. It's too crowded and too much of a wait to see. I have gone over into the area to see the band on the River and the first time I did that my feet were run over by a man with a rolling backpack. On my last visit, I went over the bridge right before the beginning of the last show and found a space without waiting. As a matter of fact, the show had just started. Then after a while I left when I got bored, went back over the bridge and over to BTMRR to ride it while the show's fireworks were going off. I really don't care that much for Fantasmic, not enough to put up with crowds and waiting so long. Now that I hear these stories, I don't know that I will ever give it a real chance! Personally, I just kind of like being in Frontierland during the show and seeing everyone enjoying it, listening to the music and sound, and riding BTMRR.

Yes, I've seen it fully once and partially many times. When I saw it fully, we didn't wait that long because we saw it from the bridge and it was an easy place to snag at that time. I was happy seeing it and it was nice and all. Maybe I will see it fully again some other time, if I am with someone who wants to do that, but it's not one of my priorities.

Like I said, I do get a kick out of being at the edge of the show while it is going on and seeing people's faces. I love the music. The music, for me, is part of summer and gets into my heart as part of a summer evening at DL.

It's always good to keep in mind that not everyone has to do or see or like everything in order to judge for themselves how they feel about it.

I LOVE to watch it from Splash. If you can come around the top of the mountain at the right time during the fireworks it's an awesome sight!
I've never had a bad experience like this waiting for Fantasmic, but a guy did throw up on the walkway coming out of Soarin. Yuck.

I guess I am the only one that sits from 5pm -7pm (show prep) then moves next to Tower B behind the reserved area next to the Stage Managers desk, and sits until show time. Then has a friend reserve the spot, I go get food and drinks and use the restroom, and come back. Then he goes. Then we stay again for show 2.

Gosh, I don't know if I can remember anything extraordinarily disturbing, but it's always a party when you're suddenly surrounded by a bunch of tourists who don't speak English and they have no idea what personal space is. You've got to be tough then. Real mean, you know.

I had this space saved, standing space. I had my legs spread to save two spots. This lady next to me kept moving over and over on my right side, at one point was basically leaning on me. I said, and pardon my laungauge:

Me: (expletive delted), can you kindly get off me?
Lady: Well you cant save spaces, its against Disneyland policy, I'm a Cast Member, I should know.
Me: Oh really, I have many friends that work here, and I never heard that. If you dont get off me, Ill have sercurity remove you.
Lady: Its just a few spaces, whats the big deal.
Me: My friends want to see the show from here, so I'm going to save them spaces.
Lady:Well tell them to go sit somewhere else.

At this point I was pissed with this lady, so I pushed her back into her spot, and put the bag I had with breakable items in it.

Me: If you try to lean on me again, and break any item in this bad, you are going to pay for it.

She complained to her friend next to her for about 15 min. In that time my friends came. Now RJ is small, but Sam is tall, and muscular, so I put him on that side. She turned back to yell:

Sam: Hi there, I hear you are giving my friend trouble.
Lady: Oh no, but he was saving spaces, and thats not allowed
Sam: Im a CM here, and it is allowed. Excuse me for a second. (Sam reaches over and kisses me)
Lady: Oh god, gays, just what I need.

After that she left. That always works in most cases.

Them gays! Them gays is everywhere! ^_~

Y'know, Fantasmic is something that I'd never actually wait for... I've seen a full show every time I've gone, but I wouldn't have the patience to really eek out a spot. I suppose when I go again and want to impress my girlfriend, I'd just save the trouble, go for the expense, and get reserved seating.
