Default Disneyland's Fantasmic or WDW's Fantasmic

Which do you prefer better? I feel that DL fantasmic is WAY better!!! It seems like it is more proffesional and the whole mountain idea thing is really cheesy. But thats my opinion

it's not that the mountain is cheesy, it's actually cool when Mickey appears at the end in his famous Fantasia robe and hat on an actual mountain. plus the MGM one has an actual stadium, which would make DL's version absolutely PERFECT, but, ya DL's looks so much more professional with their Columbia and Mark Twain...without those two things it's just weird...and also MGM's Mark Twain looks like it came from Compton or something lol (no offense to Comptoners)...i don't think anyone would prefer MGM's to DL's ORIGINAL!

Walking down the exit of the WDW Fantasmic! Stadium I was shaking my head. I simply couldn't believe WDW did that bad a job of copying Disneyland's Fantasmic!. I'll give up the stadium seating for our version of Fantasmic! any day of the week. Not having a special stadium is one of the most important parts of Disneyland's show. The Rivers of America literally come alive, it's more or less real if you ignore the show lights n' such. Mickey on a mountain in the finale is great, but a tugboat is not the Mark Twain & pointless Pocahontas stage show doesn't replace the Peter Pan pirate ship scene. Don't even get me started on the absence of Kaa & the dancing monkeys...

In place of the Peter Pan segment is a Pocahontas segement that also begins with a cannon shot. The indians attack the settlers who are building Jamestown and John Smith and Pocahontas stop them.

I think WDW's is better for some reason I like it more and their boat isnt supposed to be a Mark Twain its just supposed to be a steamboat and I like the whole mountain thing too but I also like Disneylands version just not as much as Disney World

we all have are opinions..just maybe some people dont turn on the light when writing it down.

besides the DL is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more choreagraphed esp when it comes to the Mark Twain Scene. Look at the WDW version. They just wave.
It was a cheap remake to the DL version. the only thing i might agree with is the stadium seating. but even so, half the fun is waiting for the show on the ground and having the band play on the river.

I voted both because I like Disneyland's Mark Twain and Columbia, they are like the real thing. I also like WDW's because you get to sit in an amphitheatre and not on the ground like DL.

^ The only thing an ampitheatre really does, other than providing a back-less bleacher seat, is force you to watch it 7x farther away than you would have @ Disneyland.

I voted for the Fantasmic! at Disneyland. One of the reasons being that, as Peoplemover Matt said- the one in Florida makes you sit farther away. It's not as people-friendly? Intimate? Another reason is that I really like the contrast of atmosphere from the Columbia battleship scene to the Princess Medley. Also I enjoy the pre-show entertainment on the Rivers of America.

One of the things I didn't like about the Florida one was when Mickey finds a lamp and then Jafar goes, "Enter the Cave of Wonders!" or something to that effect. That part is just so random. But Florida does have a cool climax with the water curtain thing. Also, the steamboat is kinda cool, but not as dramatic as the Mark Twain.

I prefer Disneylands, but I do like the bubbles sequence at WDW.

i'd have to say that dl's version is better than wdw. wdw's isn't bad, but i just expected it to be better than it was. for instance, i absolutely LOVE the peter pan sequence! the battle on the rock just didn't seem so... exciting. but most importantly, having a separate stadium JUST for wdw's show makes it seem less magical. the idea that this island you've been staring at all day, that kids have been playing on could transform over a few hours into this incredibly magical place is amazing! (and for the out-of-towner on vacation it's almost unexpected) a stadium... just doesn't do that.

I think that WDW's is not as good beacuse there is no "No one is watching us dance" peter pan sequence.
