1. When was your most recent trip to Disneyland: August 27, 2008
2. Which ride in DL do you believe has the most "Disney Touch" to it: OOH that is hard. I'd probably have to say... either the Mark Twain or Storybook Land Canal Boats. There's just something about those two.
3. Which ride in DL do you believe was the most expensive to make: Indiana Jones
4. Which attraction in DL do you believe is the best to ride at night: Matterhorn!
5. What do you go for first at DL, roller coasters or thrill rides: Whatever the people with me want to do. Whatever's easiest to get to and has the shortest line :)
6. What is your favorite "Mountain (BTMRR, Matterhorn, Splash, Space)" at DL: SPACE. whoo! But I'm a fan of all the other ones too.
7. If you could bring a attraction from any other Disney Theme park to DL, what would it be and why: Oh goodness. TEST TRACK. Just because. :)
8. What do you think of the DCA expansion plans (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCsmQPwxiP8): I'll miss the California and the way it is now, but I know it'll be good for the park in the end. I'm also stoked about the Disney's World of Color show, you don't even know.
9. Have you ever worked at DL: No, but I've considered it AND have been asked to work there before.
10. What was the longest trip you have ever taken at Disneyland (# of days): 2, I think -- I'm local so I don't usually stay overnight there

1. When was your most recent trip to Disneyland: August 25, 2008

2. Which ride in DL do you believe has the most "Disney Touch" to it: Hmm, probably either Peter Pan or POTC.

3. Which ride in DL do you believe was the most expensive to make: Indiana Jones.

4. Which attraction in DL do you believe is the best to ride at night: Tie between Matterhorn and BTMR.

5. What do you go for first at DL, roller coasters or thrill rides: I usually go with the thrill rides because the coasters are always the longest wait.

6. What is your favorite "Mountain (BTMRR, Matterhorn, Splash, Space)" at DL: Space Mountain during the day. BTMR & Matterhorn during the night. I can't pick one.

7. If you could bring a attraction from any other Disney Theme park to DL, what would it be and why: Oh, there's so many just because I've never been to WDW. Here's some that I'll list.

- Expedition Everest.
- Timekeeper.
- ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter.
- Carousel of Progress (because I want to see it back where it belongs in DL).
- Swiss Family Treehouse (because I don't like Tarzan).

8. What do you think of the DCA expansion plans (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCsmQPwxiP8): I think it's a good idea though I don't think they should do the Carsland. No more Pixar things, seriously.

9. Have you ever worked at DL: Not yet! I'm hoping I can do it in the next couple years.

10. What was the longest trip you have ever taken at Disneyland (# of days): Haven't gone back to back days yet. We just go whenever with our AP.

1. When was your most recent trip to Disneyland:
- May 24-25, 2008

2. Which ride in DL do you believe has the most "Disney Touch" to it:
- Peter Pan! The attention to detail is astounding and no matter how many times I ride it, flying over London and Neverland still excite me

3. Which ride in DL do you believe was the most expensive to make:
- It's hard to say, after adjustment for inflation I'd expect The Matterhorn or Pirates to be nearly tied with Indy.

4. Which attraction in DL do you believe is the best to ride at night:
- The Matterhorn! For some reason that's the time when I really feel like it's a real mountain :P

5. What do you go for first at DL, roller coasters or thrill rides:
- I usually grab an Indy FP, then go over to Splash Mountain and work my way back to Indy (HM, Pirates)

6. What is your favorite "Mountain (BTMRR, Matterhorn, Splash, Space)" at DL:
- The Matterhorn! I love the theming, I love Harold, I love the silly queue music - it's so much fun!

7. If you could bring a attraction from any other Disney Theme park to DL, what would it be and why:
- Pooh's Hunny Hunt from Tokyo Disneyland or Journey to the Center of the Earth from Tokyo DisneySea

8. What do you think of the DCA expansion plans (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCsmQPwxiP8):
- Hopefully when it's all done, the park will be more accessible and fun for all. I'm looking forward to most of the changes and new rides, especially Little Mermaid.

9. Have you ever worked at DL:
- No, but I am planning to apply for the WDW college program next year

10. What was the longest trip you have ever taken at Disneyland (# of days):
- 4.5 days (we had a 5-day parkhopper but weren't there all five) my family and I hadn't been there in three or four years and California Adventure had just been opened. I think three days is the right amount of time, 5 was way too much!

1. When was your most recent trip to Disneyland: I honestly don't remember. I've gone in a few times to meet some friends for an hour or so, but that's it recently...

2. Which ride in DL do you believe has the most "Disney Touch" to it: I think I'd have to say Peter Pan. Since the track is above you, you really feel like you're flying in a pirate ship and you forget that you're on a ride! I also love all the effects - from the little cars in London, to the starry skies of Neverland.

3. Which ride in DL do you believe was the most expensive to make: Probably Indiana Jones Adventure

4. Which attraction in DL do you believe is the best to ride at night: Peter Pan because your eyes are adjusted to the dark, so you can see all the details in the ride!

5. What do you go for first at DL, roller coasters or thrill rides: I go for the characters.

6. What is your favorite "Mountain (BTMRR, Matterhorn, Splash, Space)" at DL: BTMRR!

7. If you could bring a attraction from any other Disney Theme park to DL, what would it be and why: I don't know where they'd put it because it doesn't go with our theme-ing, but definitely Journey to the Center of the Earth! That is the BEST RIDE EVER!!!

8. What do you think of the DCA expansion plans (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCsmQPwxiP8): It'll be interesting to see the outcome of it...

9. Have you ever worked at DL: Yes, for 1 year 3 months now in the entertainment department!

10. What was the longest trip you have ever taken at Disneyland (# of days): I think 2 days. Disneyland used to be a one day a year thing for our family but one time we actually stayed at a nearby hotel to stay for two days!

2. Which ride in DL do you believe has the most "Disney Touch" to it
It's A Small World. Kind of a surprising choice I know, but when I think 'Disney Touch' I think of Walt Disney's touch, not necessarily The Walt Disney Co.'s touch. Recently anything related to movies or commercial media has been over-hyped and over-marketed like crazy except Small World. Small World still has the original idealistic touch that Walt Disney put in many of his creations. Disney is all about dreams, but Walt Disney was probably the biggest dreamer of them all. Small World is Walt's dream for a unified and peaceful world where humanity celebrates what we all have in common rather than how we're all different and remember that really, it's a small world after all. Having a few characters is not going to change that.

3. Which ride in DL do you believe was the most expensive to make
Thinking beyond simple budget numbers, the definitive winner here is Rocket Rods. Rocket Rods was a very expensive E-ticket to begin with, and then attempts to lessen that cost only made costs spiral completely out of control. Going cheap on the track led to stress fractures. Going cheap on the vehicles lead to their near-constant breakdown. Going cheap on the ride experience lead to blank bare walls, cheap red lights, ONE little air blast, no music, no theme, nothing that we'd associate with a Disneyland E-ticket attraction. Then after a very short & painful existence, the Rods were removed forever, and the Peoplemover track now stands dormant. It stands as a reminder of the ride that was needlessly and mercilessly killed off for arguably the biggest embarassment in Walt Disney Imagineering history. Certainly the Rods was a very expensive ride for Disney, in many more ways than one.

4. Which attraction in DL do you believe is the best to ride at night
I'm going to go with the Jungle Cruise here. Unlike the day, at night the skipper has the power of the lights. Skipper can shine the lights at whatever skipper wants the attention on, and give a very much more directed and effective routine. If done right, this can lead to much better experience than a daytime trip down the river.

5. What do you go for first at DL, roller coasters or thrill rides
I thought roller coasters were considered 'thrill rides' but regardless, first I go for at Disneyland is the Monorail often times. Since I'm not a big fan of the tram, sometimes I'll walk to Downtown Disney from the Parking Structure and ride the Monorail into Disneyland. Sure it takes a little bit of time, but getting off in the middle of Tomorrowland & flying into Disneyland instead of simply walking in, or being herded in by tram, can be a fun way to start.

Quote:
6. What is your favorite "Mountain (BTMRR, Matterhorn, Splash, Space)" at DL
I'll go with Big Thunder Mountain here. It's the most fun of the bunch.

7. If you could bring a attraction from any other Disney Theme park to DL, what would it be and why
Even though the Marketing Dept. would laugh me out of the room if I ever suggested this, I'd be totally in favor of replacing Star Tours with StormRider from Tokyo Disney Sea. The reason is StormRider and Star Tours have a very similar technology, but StormRider takes it completely to the next level. Instead of merely shaking with the ride, you can see where you've gone out windows on the side, you can feel mist spraying in your face, and the new piece of meteorlogical technology that you're watching & goes wrong comes through the roof of the theatre completing the immersion! It's an original ride based on weather & bad storms, a very familiar concept to all people, that explores a future technology being developed with the hope that it will be able to diffuse bad storms. Can you imagine if we could have diffused recent Hurricanes Gustav & Ike? That would be priceless technology. Storm Rider explores that concept in true Tomorrowland-like fashion, making for a very exciting experience.

8. What do you think of the DCA expansion plans
The plan will be good as long as the plan actually comes to fruition, and doesn't fall victim to budget cuts. The most-prominent message I draw out of the plans is that a Billion dollars doesn't go anywhere near as far as it used to.

Quote:
9. Have you ever worked at DL
Nope, but I can't tell you how many times others have thought I had.

10. What was the longest trip you have ever taken at Disneyland
12 days spread between Disneyland and WDW was the longest trip I had at Disney Resorts in the USA. My 2007 Japan trip lasted 14 days, 11 of which were spent at the Tokyo Disney Resort's parks. It's nice to have enough time to be able to see everything without much worry of running out of time.

1. When was your most recent trip to Disneyland: May 6, 2007. But I'll be out there in November!

2. Which ride in DL do you believe has the most "Disney Touch" to it: Splash Mountain. I love that they incorporated all of the characters from Song of the South to it. Most log rides are left as a simple climb up and drop down. This one has an actual experience to it. Plus it's my favorite ride.

3. Which ride in DL do you believe was the most expensive to make: With all the effects probably Indiana Jones.

4. Which attraction in DL do you believe is the best to ride at night: Honestly? I like riding the DLRR at night. You get to see all of Disney at every angle at night. What could be better than that?!

5. What do you go for first at DL, roller coasters or thrill rides: Neither. I get my fast pass for Indy and Splash and then I head in line for POTC.

6. What is your favorite "Mountain (BTMRR, Matterhorn, Splash, Space)" at DL: Splash Mountain!

7. If you could bring a attraction from any other Disney Theme park to DL, what would it be and why: I wouldn't. That's the magic of Disneyland is everything it's made up of.

8. What do you think of the DCA expansion plans (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCsmQPwxiP8): I think it's a great idea. More room for more attractions will bring in a broader range of people.

9. Have you ever worked at DL: No, I live too far!
