disneyland quiz!

just a short quiz i made for fun... enjoy!

Not bad. There are a couple points to make though.

For one, both the Mad Tea Party and King Arthur's Carrousel have changed locations.

Also, the gold spike next to the Castle has nothing to do with being the center of Disneyland. It is simply an old survey marker that was used in establishing the center line would lineup all the way through from Main St. Station through the castle to the rear of the park, which is much closer to the castle than the entrance gates are.

I've read in many books that the spike was the geographic center of the park (not including DCA).
And darn, I had a feeling king arthur's carousel might have been moved so i was considering changing the question.
All about that gut instinct. haha. oh well, i didnt really spend a whole lot of time on it, ill make a better one later.

So have I, but that just means there's a lot of wrong information out there. It's really funny too because all anyone has to do is look at a park map & make a little dot for the location of the spike to realize that it's nowhere close to the center of Disneyland.

As the Peoplemover used to say, the center, or "heart" of Disneyland is the plaza, also known as the hub.

maybe not technically the center of the park, but it is the center of the actual land mass. but oh well. I updated the quiz a bit, added a few questions.

*gasps and shuns* haha, no. It's okay. Obviously, you go for the park fun and pay no attention to the history whatsoever (or, you probably do, but not as much as PMM). That was like me when I went, and then we kept going, then that's when it caught my interest

^ Well, sort of. I love learning about the history but can never usually remember what I learn. I also don't usually look at all the little details sometimes, unless i'm REALLY interested in it. I'll need to brush up on my DL knowledge...

I only get to go once every year or two...sometimes 3! ahh. dont want to think about it.
But when i do go, I take it all in. I know the place like the back of my own hand. I like to read about it too, it's fascinating and magical.

It's not the center of anything. It's a survey marker for the centerline of the park ensuring the castle lines up with Main St. & Main St. Station.

Yeah that's a problem. No McDonald's in Disneyland Resort. McD's was removed nearly a year ago now.
