Default The Disneyland experience of Tomorrow

The ever-changing advances in technology in the world of Disney theme parks are becoming quite the spectacle. The 50th anniversary of Disneyland has proven that with the new firework launchers and designs, the projection system created for Sleeping Beauty Castle and It's a Small World. These advances have spruced up attractions like Pirates and the Haunted Mansion, but where do you think that this will lead Disneyland in it's next 50 years? I believe that one day the Imagineers will create a system which transforms a CM's voice into that of a Disney character allowing guest to hold a conversation with Mickey or Winnie the Pooh, they are on the right path with Turtle Talk with Crush in having real time interaction with guests, the next hurdle to to get it out of a building and into the parks. So what do you think the Disneyland of tomorrow might hold?

Well I'm going to get a degree in Engineering and some day I hope to become an Imagineer! I wish Disney would create more original attractions like Soarin' for DLR though, instead of cloning so much stuff from WDW. Also, I believe they have the capability to create amazing things within a reasonable budget. Monsters Inc cost them around $30 million -- that is WAY too much for a ride like that. Hopeless with John Lasseter on board we'll see some more original, non-pixar stuff for DLR.

As for character voices, I can do a great Mickey Mouse impression.

That in it of itself illustrates the shift that has taken place. No longer is Disney concerned with creating amazing things. The concern is creating the most amazing thing with the cheapest budget possible.

^^I can only imagine!

I know that's probably not the best pic, but Mickey kind of looks freaky. I agree with Buzzlightsnack though...I think it'd be really cool to hold a real conversation with the characters (thus *really* bringing the characters to life)! I'd probably have to kidnap Stitch or something if that ever happened though!

As for the future of Disneyland in my mind...Hmm...I have no clue!

I pray the Disney will come up with the money to buy the property around Disneyland to expand. I'd hate to see old rides be destroyed for new ones.

In the Disneyland of tomorrow I would like to see less complaining about Disneyland.
