Wink Dancing at Disneyland?

Hey hey hey!! I just wanted to ask: Has anyone ever been watching a band on Main Street (or any other small show) and started dancing and actually been noticed by the Cast Members?
Cuz I've been watching some shows and been called out of the audience at least once or twice, and gotten applause for some impromptu swing dancing and fancy-looking turns. Share your own funny/ cute/ embarrasing stories here!!

Well, I was ordered to parade around the flagpole for Cruella's modelling competition...

Otherwise, no, though A) I would like to learn swing dancing, and B) if they had real electronica DJs spin at Tomorrowland Terrace I would probably break it down.

I love these stories, they are soo cool. I acually ended up dancing for Ariel when I went to meet her once. She saw that I was wearing a sweatshirt from my dance studio and asked me if I would dance for her. I ended up doing some jumps and turns for her, making her giggle. She even said "If I had legs, I should hope I could dance as beautifully as you" (I think I posted this story on a different thread)

Funniest story ever----

We were at New Orleans Square about 5 years back, and the jazz singers came out, said to create a circle, and they picked people out of the crowd to start dancing. They picked my cousin, who was bout 18 years old, and she starts bumping and grinding like crazy. No one was turned off by it, it wasn't horrible or anything. But the main singer starts busting up, and after the show, he comes to us and says, "Girl, you can't dance like that at DISNEYLAND!!!" My cousin was so embarrassed, she turned bright red. And she was lauhging just as hard as the singer. So they guy gave her a hug and a huge load of beads, then he taught our group how to make the stars out of them.

LOL I have a funny almost-dancing story. I was at Disneyland Resort with a group of friends last week, and we were just about to leave DCA to go to lunch at Club 33, when we walked past the High School Musical 3 Pep Rally in the Sunshine Plaza. Well, none of us really LOVED the HSM series (I liked it, and two of my friends despise it with a passion) But we like some of the music. So, they were playing I Want It All (One of our favorite songs, for its arrogant lyrics.) And they were looking for people to be their "new wildcat superstars" and we thought it would be awesome to just bust into the crowd and start doing some crazy-hard turns and jumps. We really wanted to do it too! But none of us wanted to shove through all those people, so we just stood and watched the poor saps that got chosen get embarrasses. See what happens when you get shy at Disneyland?!?! I wish I could've done it, too! Oh, well. Maybe next time!

If I'm ever caught dancing at Disneyland its with my friends.
And its usually where they are playing music like at the Tomorrowland stage. We just goofed off, had fun, got some funny looks.

I dance all the time at Disneyland, haha. My bff and I do Mickey's Fantasmic! dance whenever we watch it

I have a funny dancing story though - back when Block Party Bash was still at DCA, I went to go watch it (this was about two years ago) and I was already up and dancing when the floats were coming through to get to where they needed to be for their show stop, and the green army man that was announcing everything totally called me out - and continued to for the rest of the show! HAHA. I think he was hitting on me. Anyway, I got to dance in it, too.

I get more of the comments about singing, though, like when I watched Celebrate! (A Street Party) and the guy in front of me went "I thought you said you haven't seen this before!" Not like I actually DID say that, but half those songs are from other places and I knew them already.

Forgot to mention this: I've been lucky enough to dance and sing with the Dapper Dans. I made my singing debut with them yesterday and danced with them about a couple of months ago. :-)

I have an inside joke with my siblings that is actually a crazy dance. I do it to Fantasmic all the time. I've been known to air-saxophone to the band playing before Fantasmic with everyone staring a blankly at me. Danced down Main Street too. I guess I don't care about making a fool of myself.
