i definately miss the CBJ i really wish they didnt go to put in that pooh.. makes me mad because the cbj was such a tradition and an original. i cant say that that pooh ride is never going to be as great as the CBJ

I enjoyed country bears, but the only thing i like the pooh ride better is because it has "a secret" in it, whcih are the talking animal heads. I enjoy all rides with secrets imagineers put there.

Well, actually the "secret"animals heads aren't Audio Animatronics from theaters one or two, there stuffed heads from the mile long bar !(later Brer Bar, Later pooh corner.).I'm just saying they could put the actual AAs inside.

The MK version of the CBJ is exactly same as the DLR version of the show.

I miss the Country Bear Jamboree a lot. It's one of the classics. I don't think it was a good idea taking a grea attraction out of the park and replace an another ride that doesn't seem to be worth replacing. It's slow. It's a episode based ride. Not worth building and waste all that money. BRING BACK THE BEARS!!!

the only way the Winnie the pooh ride would have wroked is if they did the same way they did it in Tokyo, that ride looked Beast! (Fresno term for great.)

well we can blame ourselves (not YOURself, but people in general) for not going to see the show, which in turn caused low attendance, which caused the classic's eventual removal. Also it was just in an out-of-place place, with only 1 way to get to it. Now if it had been in Frontierland, it would have done slightly better, or so my theory is. but now, we'll never know...

Unless they bring it back!!!!!

I always loved the Bears and I miss them terribly. It was such a nice place to sit down and watch a great show. I loved how each bear had such a different personality. It's a Disney classic and something that sets Disney parks apart form the rest.

I still think the bears were still popular even at the end. I don't believe attendance was as bad as TDA wanted us to believe. There was still an audience for the show especially during the Christmas show. They should have saved one of the theaters. I guess TDA really wanted to do the ride (and the store of course). Obviously, the bears are much more popular than Pooh.

I still have hope that one day they will return.

I'm not so optimistic about the return of the Country Bears. The only thing that has returned from retirement is the Electrical Parade.

The Electrical Parade came out of retirement twice! It had the typical two year season starting in '73 then retired to be replaced by America On Parade! in '75. The Main St. Electrical Parade was so popular then, and got so many guest requests, that it was brought back in '77. It was so popular that people requested it while America On Parade! was running, the biggest most elaborate parade Disneyland has ever done! 77 floats! Many of the huge! Hundreds of costumes! A parade organ! And still guests asked for the return of the Electrical Parade. That thing will never die!
