Hey everyone, let's go to the Canal Boats of the World and see nothing! I totally agree with your comment 1985DisneyBaby.

lol...I've got a lot more surprises up my sleeve. I'm a virtual fountain of mindless, useless Disney trivia that you would not believe. :)

When I was in Disneyland, I was on the DL Railroad that encircled the park, and as it went through Small World, I queried the conductor (who was conveniently standing on a platform beside my seat) on the characters supposedly being added to Small World, and she said that all she knew was that Stitch would be in there.

That night, as I left the park, I queried them at City Hall, but they said they knew nothing, and that we would all have to wait until it opened to see what happened.

I'm beginning to wonder if they've been blackmailed by the Disney execs into keeping silent and forbidden by them to spill the beans. You'd think the people at City Hall would know a thing or two about the updates, like if not everything, then at least a few things. Or has the thing on questioning them gone the way of the dodo, just like the parts on complaining and complementing them?

Most of us do not mind change as long as it makes sense. The planned change makes no sense other than $$$$$.

Well I know Walt Disney stated that Disneyland was always supposed to be unfinished. The park is never fully complete. I like the idea of that of course, but adding characters from Disney movies just doesn't seem to fit the ride. The intention of the ride wasn't "let put Disney characters in here and have them sing a really catchy song." The idea was to promote acceptance and peace. And this was done without any Disney charatcers in it. I think that adding in characters would take away from the original purpose of the ride a little. If they must add charatcers, it should just be the classic Disney characters i.e. Mickey and the gang. I feel like adding Stitch is just a way of trying to promote the movie.

I won't lie, I'm actually liking the IASW being closed for a while. :P It saves my sanity because I know once it will be open, my mom will most likely drag me onto it despite my protests.

We were there a few weeks ago and it was all closed and covered up. Are you saying they are going to do the same thing again next year?
