Celebrate! A Street Party!

I saw the video and it looks fine to me. We've been needing change and it looks fun! Hopefully I'll see it within the next month. The dancing is pretty cool, too.

I was really pleasantly surprised. I thought that the street party was so much fun! Good trade for the demise of the Parade of Dreams? No. But still- oodles of fun and strangely addictive.

I'd be delighted to see it again, but waiting for it in the hot sun was not fun. Oh, well.

I'm just gonna say this- this show is going to kill the performers when it's actually summertime. It's going to be so hot out there for them.

yeah we were spoiled with the last two parades and then this comes along and a lot people are scratching there heads wondering where the Disney magic went, I'm glad it's temporarily while they work on something bigger and better for next year but as long as the guest are into it, then it shouldn't be that bad.

I walked by it yesterday and it was too far away ( not to mention CROWDED) to see or hear the just of what was going on. i watched it on YouTube and was actually quite sad. yes i understand how the parades are becoming more interactive with the guests and especially with the new promotion. but i dont know i honestly was at a loss for "Disney Magic" you know? i mean yes i saw it online and its not the same, but hearing the music just sent me out the window, Hannah Montana? Please. just bah.... i dont know this is just one parade im not counting on to get me up and dancing. I'll stick with the Play Parade ;D that one is definitely cute. Disney for one of those rare moments in my life where i gotta give a thumbs down

Hopefully we can see the next parade with the same amount of "yay" as POD.

just returned from disneyland today i liked the new parade it was disney quality but scaled back compared to past parades they have lost some magic from the last couple of trips i have made like waiting in line over a hour twice for three princesses and still never seen belle or little mermaid and very few characters in general

I agree with all those who are sad the POD left, this isn't a good replacement. Hopefully it will return in the summer (as it's rumored to..) with the new electrical parade.

In the meantime, I wouldn't mind this. I love it!

With it drawing such big crowds, all the more less people to worry about for lines!

BPBfan- the PoD is rumored to be coming back? Since when? That's good news, but I'm thinking it's probably not true, darn it.

But I do like the new one. Saw it again yesterday and I swear it's a little longer (new sections in songs). But I could be wrong. Probably am.

I just checked out the official website of Disneyland and barely found out about the new parade! Can anyone tell me at what time does it start? Hopefully I will catch it when I go to Disneyland next time!

I fell in love with it, I really like it for a "filler-in". I don't think this could be a parade at all, so that's why I'm happy they called it a "Street Party" instead of a parade. The music I think it's fine it REALLY fits the promotion, which I love until now. I can't really give it my judgement not being there, but I guess I am lol. So I really love the whole thing, specially the Ricky Martin and Hairspray part, I'm a fan of both!

So my rating
A+ as a filler "Street Party"
as a parade "D" cuz it aint got good floats and music suited for a Disneyland Parade

It's been a rumor since just before the street party started. Big rumor too. Management is to supposedly (by rumor of course) have a decision sometime this month. If they do bring it back (which I pray to God they do since that means I'll have a job again) they need to make a decision asap to start auditions and float parade support refreshers and training.
