Castle Refurb?

When they repainted the castle for the 50th? Is that perminent? "Oh it better not, or Disney will meet "Mr. Fist".

I don't think so. The new decorations and stuff are pretty out there and extravagent. I think that as soon as the bash dies down they will be taken away.

wow, you hate it that much? i think they will still take it down, but if they dont, try to keep "mr. fist" at home the next time you go.

its not permanent, disney repaints things everyday so the paint will be removed.

Do you think they may take down all the decorations, but leave the gold paint. I think that it's possible.

Its just, I started enjoying Disneyland a lot when there 50th started. I miss the old blueish castle..Thats what i want to see.

Seeing as the gold paint was there before the 50th came with its crowns on the castle, I don't think it'll leave when the crowns leave, but there's no way to know beforehand really.

I would like them to take down the crowns and stuff. But i want them to leave gold paint and the banners .

Yeah I like the new paint. It gives all the other Disney castles a run for their money when it comes to Castle colors (except DLRP because that park rocks lol). Plus the orangish color was Walt Disneys origional color plan for the castle and not the blue castle. The blue makes the castle look not special and I think this gives the castle some authority. Our castle deserves to look special.

I think it's awesome. I also think Disney might do the "Well we hit the 50 mark so let's leave gold up until 100", thing. Kinda like a reminder...

My vote is to keep it.
